Nestled in one of the quietest streets in jpnagar, cafe potpourri is a simple, tiny cafe serving some yummy food and drinks. It has limited seating if around 4 to 5 tables. Cane chairs and colorful tables. They also have a small book corner with some amazing collection of books. They have a large menu consisting of a variety of finger food, snacks, main course, hot and cold drinks. We tried Onion pakoda (10/10)was crispy, crunchy and yummy Paneer Pakoda (9/10) soft paneer with a crispy exteriorChilly Cheese Sandwich (9/10) spicy and cheesyCoconut Rice with Paneer Tikka Masala (10/10) our favourite. The tikka gravy was spicy and tasted yummy with the rice.Drinks-Nutella Coffee Shake(10/10) just the right drink for the spicy foodHealthy Snickers (9/10) it was like having liquid snickers. Its a semi open cafe, so u can enjoy cool breeze. Since its a dead end road, its peaceful. Theyve kept the interiors simple, nothing fancy. Service was friendly and courteous. Now let me get to the main point. Pricing. Their prices are so pocket friendly. 2 people can have a 3 course meal within 500/- And there is no compromise on quality or quantity. Hoping u guys maintain all these things. Going back soon to try a lot more.
Cafe Potpourri is a cozy cafe located in JP Nagar 2nd Phase. The place has wooden chairs and tables filled with colored stones. This outlet is known for its ultra low pocket friendly prices with high quality food. The menu comprises of sandwiches, shakes, Indian breakfast, snacks, donuts among others. We ordered the Tandoori Veg Momos. The Momos are roasted on the stove which gives it a charred tasted. The filling is made with cabbage, chillies and was simply great and the dish is served with mayo. The Oreo Shake was perfect in taste and sugar. The shake wasnt too thick as well, just the way I like. The Samosa Sandwich came next. This filling dish is huge in size compared to its price. The samosa is filled inside the bread and then grilled to perfection. Next came the Coconut rice with Paneer tikka gravy. The coconut rice also had traces of green chillies for the kick. But the Paneer Tikka gravy was out of the world. The combination is made in heaven. We even ordered the Aloo Jeera which was decent as well. Dont miss out on it. Lastly we tried their Caramel and White chocolate Doughnuts. Both the doughnut were soft and had a thin layer of the topping. Overall, the prices here are insanely pocket friendly. A must visit for bargain hungers. The Verdict:Taste – 8/10Ambiance – 7/10Service – 7/10Value for Money – 9/10Go crazy! rohitdassani.com
