The food was Continental and the rating was good. That’s what Zomato told me. Being right next to the hotel I stayed at made it all the more easier for me to choose this place. I had no idea what the theme was or how the place looks. It’s a home turned into a cafe with a beautiful outdoor seating. Having come for dinner, the interiors of the place just blew me away. Holy how! One wall painted in royal blue had a complete rock music instrument set as the night watchman. With dual spotlight on them, the aura of the place just went through the roof. There are three board-turned-wall hangings on brewing, a cupboard space that houses books as well as a Veena and an old recorder. The adjacent room made me drool over the lovely arrangement of legendary musicians on the wall. The sandal lights are very well complimented by the wooden table and chairs. I can keep writing more in the ambiance of the place. But let me break here. I’m in love with the place already.The food took more than a good 20 minutes to be ready. Had ordered Chewy Lui. It’s lamb that is marinated and sprinkled with herbs and which is grilled enough. It comes in small thin slices, all of which is surprisingly consistent. It’s all chewy like the name says and it’s all lovely. The touch of herbs makes it go just that extra mile. The other dish was monster burger. This one was a double chicken patty burger with cheese and lettuce filling. It’s served with mayo and potato chips. The patty was done well but I’ve to be honest, I have had better monster burgers. I do not wish to compare it with another place, but a monster burger can use a lot more cheese filling than was served with and it could use a bit of color. Although high on taste, the burger looked a little dull. Given a second chance, I would still choose this place over a lot of other restaurants here only for the ambiance the place offers and how a fan of music would want to spend time here. The food is good and would recommend to all. Cheers!!
