  Have been coming to this place since the beginning. I have never been disappointed. The food is always the best. The Benne Dosa is the highlight as it is really buttery. Paddu is also really good. Thatte idly is really soft and melts in your mouth. We recently tried the Open Dosa, which is also really good.

  Being outsider in Bangalore like many other I couldn’t pronounce name of davanagere benne dosa correctly now. However I can remember the taste for forever. Very unique dish for desi firangis like me. I can’t compare it with any other place as I have had this variety for the first time. Must try! For the one who don’t know benne means butter in kannada and this variety correctly justify name!

  Very testy food i love all dosas butter masala dosa very nice Just love the way the food is served with love, care & attention. Feels so homely, Tasty, Lipsmacking. The Chutney, Aloo palya is just awessome

  being a Davangere native myself , Davangere benne dosa my top favorite dosa among all the dosa variants, it’s one of the most famous and iconic dishes from our city, what makes this dosa so special and unique is that aroma of generously melted lump sum butter on top of dosa, crispiness to the edges of the dosa & royally served with juicy coconut chutney and smashed potatoes on top of banana leaf/plantain leaf, it’s very common to see Benne dosa joints at many corners of Davangere city but there aren’t many in Bangalore, very few Benne dosa joints exists in Bangalore, when i was carving for having Davangere Benne dosa in Bangalore, i was looking out for Davangere benne dosa joints in Bangalore and then i came across this place in Jayanagar. a small place in the prime locality of Jayanagar 4th block, there are no seating and it’s a self service system. they get huge demand in morning for breakfast and food takeaways (parcels).ordered a single benne dosa, expecting to experience the same taste and aroma as the authentic ones in Davanagere, to be honest the taste and experience were close or similar to the authentic ones which we get in Davangere city but didn’t quite taste exactly like it. the aroma of the butter was not there and it lacked the signature crispiness in texture, instead it was little thick and spongy, i’m not sure if it was due to the huge crowd and rush and too many orders back to back due to which they prepared it a hurry with less attention given to the details of preparing it. would rate 3.5/5 overall. foodrestorank.com
