Uttara Karnataka Meals & Jowar roti is something that is close to my heart. Whenever hungry, Jowar roti is one of the first things that I crave for.Visit this place, and it’s a great way to satisfy those cravings. I visited this place on a weekday for lunch, and I had to wait for a while to get a seat.It’s a small place which can accommodate 20-30 people at one go.What i liked- the to-the-point dishes, exactly tasting like Uttara Karnataka food.Must try- Jowar roti & curries( these change daily); & hot chilli bajjis.What could be better- all rotis are kept in a hot box, and this makes them a little sweaty. The overall taste goes down.
This place is famous for their Jollada rotti meals!Located in Jayanagar 4th block,it is just a 5 min walk from Vijaya college/Jayanagar 4th block bus stand.You find this place crowdy during peak hours. 20-25 people can be accommodated at a time.I did try their North Karnataka Special meals which was good and filling.You get 3 types of curries with Chapathi/Roti,Green salad and Sweet! Rice Is served with sambhar/rasam and you get buttermilk too.Staff is polite and friendly,service is quick.
