Emerging out to be one of the finest places in Indiranagar, Bombay Brasserie has taken the city by storm with amazing food and drinks, beautiful ambience and top notch service. We went there for a weekend lunch and the place was jam packed at 1 pm in the afternoon. The place is very well done with classy pastel and whites and despite of the crowd, the service was impressive. The highlights are:1. Janta Bar: Delicious fusion of Whiskey, lime and chaat masala, this is one intriguing drink. On of the major highlights from the cocktail menu, the drink is served in a pawwa style bottle to give you the full feels.2. Kairi Sharbat: A very refreshing mocktail infused with raw mango and lime. A must try.3. Calcutta club fish fry: Authentic Calcutta style fish fry served with Kashundi (Bengal style mustard dip), this is a must try. Crispy on the outside and almost melts in your mouth. Absolutely delicious.4. Chicken Baida roti: Loaded with delicious chicken filling, this is another favourite recommendation.5. Chatka Chole Kulche: If you are hunting down proper Punjabi style chole kulche in Bangalore, this is the place for you. I loved the chole cooked with perfection in rich indian spices and butter kulcha! My favourite pick from the menu.6. Chilly cheese kulche: Mini kulche overloaded with cheese and flavored with green chilli, these kulcha are a paradise for every cheese lover.7. Amritsari kulfa: Delicious kulfi served on a bed of authentic punjabi rabri with falooda, this dessert is a must must try! The presentation will win your heart :)Burps&Bunks rating: 5/5A must must visit place in Bengaluru 🙂

Ambience – 4.5/5Service – 3.5/5Staff Behaviour – 3.75Food – 3.5/5Value for money – 1.5/5Overall – 3.35/5Bombay Brassiere is a well known chain of high end restaurant which is prolific in serving food from all the different corners of India after fine tuning it!The place is absolutely beautiful, with punny regional anecdotes adorned all over the wall in the restaurant. The seating space looked like an old building being completely restored just to serve it’s patrons. It’s lighting is soothing and overall the whole ambience just helps the conversation flow. However, do be warned, if you are a large group, it might not be completely possible to understand each other. There are a few gimmicks associated with the place. For one, apparatus with olive oil inside it with a bay-leaf for self service. With Indian food? That was weird to me. You also get crystals of rock salt and a mortar, if you want to crush it to your liking. Again, something that I felt was unnecessary. The servers were polite and professional. They kept all our requests including changing our plates when we asked and making sure the food was okay. When someone from our group was complaining about the food a little bit within ourselves, he was asked personally, if he was enjoying his food. The food was decent, but it was not worth the price we were paying for it. I felt it was a rip-off given there are a lot of other places which serves better food at a much lower price point. I understand, that Bombay Brassiere wants to place itself above these restaurants, but I do not feel it has the quality to be their yet.A beautiful place for a one time visit, but personally I would not prefer going back again. There are too many restaurants in Bangalore to choose from.

We ended up here on a Saturday afternoon – the place was rather crowded for lunch. We ordered a papad platter – average, aam papad paneer – a) the gravy was a bit too strong to our liking and b) we were expecting the lotus stem to be crispy but it wasn’t – average, french fries – average, beer and a jamoon flavoured cocktail (this was quite yummy, where the glass was rimmed with pink salt). All in all, the experience was average. We didn’t find it to be worth the time or money. The service was incredibly quick here despite seeming understaffed! The staff was friendly with their suggestions for pairing food and drinks.

Unique cocktails blew my mind for sure.. ambiance is a Lit ..Tried the new twist in their menu. Starting from mocktails & cocktails love the texture of the flavour and they are served in a quarter.. starters served left me amusing as they has twist in the plate, that was corn served as chat with huge flavours in it. Loved all the twice they gave a modern cuisine. Tody fish curry and rice was the show stopper. Desert part was delicious with grandma’s hot chocolate fudge the best.

I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. The place is situated in Indiranagar and can be easily pointed out. Here is my perspective about the place.Food (5/5) – Mocktails – Since I don’t drink, I went ahead and tried one of their fancy mocktail “Not So Saada” and it was quite refreshing and good. It had flavors of paan and gulkand and a perfect drink to start with. If you love golas (speciality of Mumbai), they do have drinks based on that.Appetisers – We started with Karari Gobhi and then moved onto chargrilled vegetables and paneer. Paneer was so soft and grilled very nicely – just the way I like it. Both of them were served with various kinds of chutneys and tasted amazing. The presentation was also top notch.Main Course – Paneer Kathi served with Roomali Roti was fabulous in the main course. Also loved the Lassoni Palak with Laccha Parathas. Desserts – The desserts here are just amazing. We tried Amritsari Kulfa (Kulfi with Badami Rabdi along with falooda), Grandma’s Hot Chocolate Fudge (Icecream with Hot chocolate fudge and cookie crumbles) and Bombay Ice Cream Sandwich (Ice creams stuffed between Biscuits like bourbon, jim jam and Parle G). Don’t forget to try all these desserts when you visit the place. Again the presentation was just delightful to eyes.Ambience (4.5/5) – The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. They have maintained a good amount of greenery as well. The ambience is pretty much perfect and the interiors are also very good.Service (4.5/5) – The staff was quite polite, courteous and welcoming. Overall service was good.Top Most Highlight – Everything was kinda a highlight but if I have to choose one that would be Amritsari Kulfa

Was here to try out their new menu and trust me if you are a fan of this place, things get just better. Amazing ambience, a good to feel place located in the middle of busy Indranagar, this place has a charm of its own. Valet parking helps you come, relax, enjoy a few drinks with sumptuous food. Amazing service and well trained staff marks this place*************WHAT WE HAD⏭️ Started our course with their kadak chai which was served with some amazing Rusk. Amazing quality tea is what they serve, a sure shot hit.⏭️ In starters we ordered Salim’s chicken baida roti which was amazingly done with nice flavoured chicken keema in a baida roti. Malai chicken was a sure shot hit. Amazingly done with malai, you could feel it in every bite of it. Was real good marinated. The fish tikka could be a little more better. The fish was not as soft as I would expect and was a little less marinated as well.⏭️ In mains, we have had chicken tawa roast, the kathi paneer masala along with the breads. Must say i really liked the kathi paneer masala. Steaks of paneer with amazing mildly done gravy, this was heavenly for all the North Indian food lovers. The breads we had were the chur chur naan, the garlic ones and the mattar kulchas. They gave a different style of making the chur chur naan very unlike the ones you get in North India. But we’re decent.⏭️ DRINKS. – We have had a janta bar which was basically a cola whiskey combo with chaat masala and served in amazing paua glasses as we call them. Ordered a shot named fatafat, which was a mix of kahlua. Bailey and whiskey. Amazingly spread this was delight to watch.⏭️ DESSERTS – The last and the amazing bit were the desserts. Amazingly done we have had a Bombay ice cream sandwich which was basically a mixture of biscuits in bourbon, parle g and a jam one sliced well with the ice creams and had a amritsari kulfi. Must say this was one of the best kulfis I have had in the town. Amazingly done in a form of faluda, this is a must order**********OVERALL..FOOD. 4.5/5SERVICE. 5/5AMBIENCE. 5/5COST WORTHINESS. 4/5PARKING. – Valet available akhilkohlifoodjourney.wordpress.com
