What a lovely ambience this place has. Recently opened in indiranagar, this place is just behind the wildcrafts building on 100 main. The staff is really courteous here. And their mocha is the tastiest in the world. Do visit this place.
This cute cafe had a great high tea concept at an affordable price. However I hope they can improve on some things in the future. The use of ready made preserves makes things too sweet and artificial. There was a distinct lack of tartness on the platter. Also was really strange that the tea came much after the food rather than along with it.The savories were good especially the French onion soup and Yorkshire pudding. The sweet potato crisp with veg sausage was really nice as well. Some variety in cheese would be a great addition.I would probably go again in a bit to give it another shot or go al a carte.Service 3.5/5Food 3/5Ambiance 4/5Pricing 4.5/5
Visited Britalian kitchen recently. The ambience is cosy and inviting. The staff was quite friendly too. The food, however was not great. The chicken Lancashire pie herb crust was well made and cooked to perfection. The Eggs Benedict was a disappointment – the hollandaise sauce and ham were missing. It was just poached eggs on some miniature English muffins. Scones were tiny too. Coffee – mocha was also not upto the mark. There was hardly any sign of chocolate.
Stumbled upon this place in the by-lanes of Defence Colony, Indiranagar. Run by Chef James, this place offers good quality British grub, great English brekkie options and that beautiful apple pie with custard. Had the Yorkshire pudding which tasted good. Would have loved it more if it was hot. Definitely going there again!
The place is cute, cozy and the seating is rather comfortable! We ordered a mini english breakfast (decent) and a yogurt with fresh fruits (average – the yogurt was sour), served with berry compote and honey. Nothing really stood out as far as the food was concerned.
It’s so rare that i give a place 5/5 but britalian deserves it.So, the main thing i usually look for apart from great food is good service and our server today, Rimi, was an absolute delight.Starting with the Ambience, it’s so so nice, there were these beautiful tea kettles kept out infront of us, the entire place was neat and clean, quirky artwork on the walls, very pretty.Coming to food, we tried the chicken rosti with melted cheese, so yum, oh god, must try! For main course we tried their British Sunday roast with chicken and what a hearty plate of clean, beautiful food. And all this for flat ₹500, crazy value for money. Our server was kind enough to give us complimentary truffles as well, served on a beautiful, rustic plate. A must visit!Food: 4.5/5Service: 5/5Ambience: 4/5Value for money: 5/5.
