Been eating here for almost two years. Have tried Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. It is an ideal Kannada restaurant at 80 feet road, Indira Nagar just opposite BSNL exchange.●Quality is good. So is the preparation time. Cost is nominal●Breakfast: Dosas/set dosas are okay. Idlys are average. If you’re a fan of Kannada style sambar you’d love ghee roast along with it. Coconut chutney served alongside is good as well. Poori – sagus aren’t that great. Try their bread dosa. Vadas and other fritters are good only if they’re hot and had been made thirty minutes or less when you’ve dined.●Lunch/Dinner : (it’s really crowded between 1 – 1:30 p.m)a) Roti curry is the best. I prefer butter roti and ask them for Channa instead of the dal they provide. The curry is also good. Naans/butter Naans are extremely thin and crunchy which sometimes are burnt to the core(not my favorite!)b) The gravies like Gobi manchurian, Paneer butter, Mushroom masala etc go well with everything.c) Noodles and Fried Rice varieties are average.d) Bisibellebath/Aloo pulao rice bowls are served with cornflakes mixture/ raita on the respective days only at lunchtime and are good on our pockets at just 40 rupees.e) Meals(available only for lunch) – South Indian meals are good for the price, variety and quantity. North Indian meals are average.●Sandwiches are okay. Just make sure they don’t add the garam masala to it :p●Beverages: Sweet Lassi and all juices are really good. Tea and Coffee are the best.A really good place to dine when your pockets aren’t heavy. Would rate it 7.5/10.(P.S: even after almost two years of demonetization and Digital india blah blah, THEY DON’T ACCEPT CARD, PAYTM, PHONEPE, CHEQUE, KIDNEY, EYES OR WHATEVER METHOD! ONLY CASH! -_- )
It’s a decent place when ur low on money. Thier stuffed kulcha is definitely worth trying. Definitely stomach filling and taste wise its not very bad. All in all a good place but nothing great.
