Went to the restaurant for the first time today (decided not to visit again), the tea was the only thing that was ok (1 rating for that). We ordered crab roast parcel. The dish was not worth the money. 2 small piece of crab and 1 leg with some onion and little water( not even gravy), no salt, no masala. Taste was no good(Tasteless). Will not suggest the restaurant for an authentic/any Kerala food.
Had an excellent meal here, on the 27th of July, 2019. I walked in pretty late, around 10:30pm, and asked if they were still taking orders. It was possibly the best Kerala thali I’ve had in the city. And I’ve sampled many a joint. The food was fresh, in fact it was piping hot, and each dish was made with care. You can tell the difference.
Terrible quality of food served. Ordered pathiri, idiyappam and chicken stew. The pathiri was not fresh and I guess was made from the ready to cook packets. The chicken stew was horrendous. The chicken tasted stale and had a bad taste to it. Idiyappam was the only decent thing. For all the people looking to have some decent Kerala food, please avoid this restaurant.
This place has the most amazing Kerala food at very reasonable prices. The veg stew and Malabar biryani are must tries. After each bite, we just kept telling each other how amazing the food is. The owner is also very warm and welcoming & ensures we have a great time along with great food. Their snacks are brilliant too. We fell in love with the place instantly and we are sure it is going to be our most sort after Kerala food place. Do give it a try
Ordered fish thali, erachi biryani and beef dry fry.1. Fish thali, the piece of fish was smaller than my thumb. Not great side dishes also, so the thali will be 0.3/5 rating if you ask me2. Erachi biryani was good. Quantity also reasonable. I would rate it 4/53. Beef dry fry was a total fail. I was looking forward to it being a huge fan of Kerala beef dry. But this was one looked and tasted just like deep fried chunks of boiled beef pieces. My rating, 0.1/54. Service : The owner was serving us himself as the waiter was busy on his phone with multiple calls, even though the owner kept telling him to get working. The owner was very polite and professional though.Overall, I rate this place 1/5, on the basis of food alone. I have had much better experience at roadside Kerala mess restaurants in Bangalore. And that beef dry, I am not a Malayali, but just a foodie who loves to cook himself, and I think I can cook Kerala beef fry much, much better myself. These guys need to step up their culinary skills if they are to remotely resemble the taste of god’s own country
I ordered for an Erachi dry fry, mutton curry and payasam. The payasam was like semiya was cooked up in water and some sugar was added to it.. the Erachi dry was so dry that it was like rubber. The mutton curry was also extremely bad.. I also fell sick after eating the food. Please look into what you order from here.
A typical malyali restaurant with a peaceful vibe. We went there for a evening tea and some snacks. Egg bonda and a kerela style cake with two cups of tea. A nice experience with the staff. Anybody can drop in for a quality dinner or snack for a pocket friendly amount.
