SIMPLE TASTY FOOD: Single room, no frills place. Open kitchen, so u can see da cooking. Baingan bartha & channa masala are good. Rajma masala & mixed veg masala r ok. This place is very close to my house, I have noticed its crowded on weekdays by office goers.
This place caters to some simple yet delectable North Indian food. A good replica of home cooked food as the food here is devoid of any extra oil or any other notorious ingredients. Many of us deeply admire such food as it is light on the stomach, happy on the palate and easy on our pocket. Their menu includes Paratas, a few Sino-Indian starters, a simple Thali, phlukas and some gravies. On Fridays and Saturdays they serve Cholae Bathura. The owner/proprietor seems to be a Sardar who can speak some really good Kannada. The ambiance is very basic. You have a few tables overlooking the open kitchen, where you need to place your order. Pay up when you are done with your meal. No seating. Hygiene seems to be up to the standards. They are closed on Sundays. The Thali seemed to be perfect, two Chapathis, one Dal, two Subzis, plain rice and salad. Their Lassi seemed to be a perfect accompaniment; it could have been thicker though. I had the Onion Paratas and it was stuffed to perfection. The curd served along with it was thick and the Pickle was flawless. The Paneer Butter Masala was decent and not very fancy. I did see many people ordering the Gobi Manchurian though. Would definitely come back to try their Cholae Bathura.
Simple and healthy Punjabi meals. I eat all my 3 meals regularly here. Paneer Paratha is huge and tasty. Service is fast. There’s variety of North indian and chinese dishes in the menu. Thali is filling and tasty with 2 subji dal roti salad rice for a nominal 65 INR.
A small mess serving no nonsense and simple home food; easy on the stomach and tasty on the pallette. Less oily and healthy meals, more frequented by bachelors for everyday eating. Their thali has good value for money; everyday they change the variety of subjis. Parattha and lassi is also nice.
Another Punjabi outlet-cum-dhaba serving delicious food. Serving portions are large. Short of seating capacity though. The dal makhani and lassi is a must try out.
The food is tasty and the cooks maintain cleanliness. On Fridays they serve Chole Bhatura which is also very good. Have tried aloo and paneer parathas from here which are nice. In the evenings they also serve samosa and bread pakodas. The price is reasonable.
This place is around 300 meters away from my home.I had seen this place man times and bookmarked it in my mind as I pass through this place almost everyday.Recently remembered that I had to try this place out and headed right there to fetch some dinner.Simple and sober place, No seating, Gotta stand and eat. I opted for take away.Tried the Aloo paratha, Paneer paratha, Paneer butter masala,Phulkas and jeera rice. The portions were adequate and the parathas tasted great so did the other accompaniments..One thing I would like to highlight is the hygiene he maintains. I personally stood there for the entire 15 min he took to prepare my order and was impressed by the cleanliness quotient.Coming to the prices they are pretty pocket friendly, Just costed me 240 for the entire order above inclusive of takeaway charges.Would recommend people to try this place. voiceofmytastebuds.com
