Had been here for a quick bite. This place is the other branch of food springs. The Jade Kitchen is a complete Indo Chinese cuisine restaurant. Reasonable prices and a great quality in ingredients are the key for it.What I had:Hunan Wonton SoupPanner PopsHoney Chilli PotatoFried Babycorn Hot Pot styleTai Pei MushroomBlack Pepper Fried RiceFruitillicios shakeCusty Apple shake.Hunan Wonton Soup: This is a typical Hunan soup with a variety of flavours .Panner Pops.. sounds interesting isn’t it, but also tastes more and more than your expectations. This is their highest selling dish, yes it has a reason.Firstly the coating or the outer surface is very good and crispy with their unique style. This was basically crispy on the outside and soft inside, what more do you need. The Panner was marinated in their special mixture of spices and sprinkled with many flavours like onion. This is perfectly a fantastic dish. Do try it when you are hereHoney Chilli Potato: Potatoes shallow fried and infused with honey and chilli on the tongue. A wonderful combination in the recent times.Tai Pei MushroomMushroom lovers here is your pick. This thai flavoured snack is an absolute delicacy. The red chilli flavour infused with Mushroom is something very well crafted. The soft mushrooms with a coat of binding mixture in heat mixed with thai flavours with a shallow fry gives me an absolutely wonderful feel. The presentation is so good that you can’t resist not spoiling it. The garnishing elements were perfectBlackpepper Fried RiceShort rice seasoned with Black Pepper and good amounts not veggies. This is a perfect blend. The Vegetables ie carrots, babycorn, cabbage fried with small amounts of red chilli powder. The Veggies were perfectly sauted and thus the rice with black pepper was imbibed into the vegetables very well. This one is interesting and I would recommend this.Fruitillicios shake: Man!! This was one of the best thickshakes ever had. All the fruit flavours would literally give you a punch!!Custy Apple shake: Sweet Custard apple with small amounts of sugar. This is really a great one.
Ambience – 3.5/5 Food – 4/5 Service – 4/5 VFM – 3.5/5 Parking – NoThe Jade Kitchen is a small and cosy eatery at JP Nagar, specialising in Chinese and Thai cuisine. The surprise element here is that its fully vegetarian. We started with Lemongrass soup. Must say it was one of the most delicious soups I’d tasted. Flavourful, brothy, loaded with veggies, spiced just right to whet the appetite and with the tang of lemon grass, this was the perfect start to the meal.Next up was their house special, paneer pops. Paneer coated with batter and deep fried, looking deceptively like KFC, was served with a sweet chilly sauce. Likes it a lot, my son absolutely loved it!For mains we ordered Thai fried rice and Baby corn with bamboo shoots in chili bean sauce. Unlike many other places, the sauce was not overpowering and complemented the rice well. Nothing outstanding, but quite well made.Service was quick and waiters were courteous.
