The smaller fry amongst the multitude of food places in Kamanahalli, this is my go-to place for authentic shawarmas. Repeat: AUTHENTIC shawarmas – minus too much cabbage, minus mayo, with fries, and with near actual toum. The falafels were a little disappointing when I last had them. Yet to try out the other rolls and sandwiches, but chances for that are less when there’s such good shawarma on offer!Added bonus: for those who’ve stayed in the ‘gelf’/Gulf/Dubai, you’ve got Vimto and Shani on offer here :DPrice and VFM quotient: Total VFM! Shawarmas for Rs. 60 is amazing for what they offerTaste: The awesomest shawarmas I’ve found in Bengaluru. As I said, real toum is added. And no unnecessary stuff like onions or mayo. Ambience: Is more of a takeaway place with 2 plastic tables and chairs outside. Preparation and kitchen area is fairly neat.Service: You order over the counter, and you receive it, nothing else more 😀 Is fairly quick.Revisit quotient: Hell yes! In spite of the distance and other ‘distractions’ like Al Amanah and other places 😉 – this is among the places I’ll go to again and again.
This place is located between kullappa Circle and Empire restaurant, it’s a small corner shop with barely a few seating outside the shop. This is advisable for take away. My favorite here are chicken with falafel and chicken kudu. Also do try out the mutton samosas on offer. Mint tea is decent as well. I found this place while looking for other roll places in kammanahalli.
Wanted to try something new for a quick lunch yesterday. It was always al amanah for us but this time we chose to visit al Amal cafe which wasn’t disappointing at all. I would call it a wonderful experience. The rolls really tasted good and they were properly rolled and served hot. The staff members were really polite and friendly to us. Huge chunks of chicken was used as filler which was the best part. The roll was made using a rumali which had French fries, mayonnaise, cabbage, tomatoes, meat, falafil and sauce. This place is reasonable as well. I would definitely visit them again and again for quick bites.
Exquisite Food. Easy on the pockets. Extremely Filling. What more could I ask for? A full 5 star rating just for those sausage rolls. I absolutely love this place. A must visit for me whenever I’m in Bangalore 😀
