We were here for lunch and we were the only people in the restaurant at that time. The ambiance is really colorful with huge sofas to sit. For mocktail we ordered watermelon cooler and white devil. For starters we ordered devil chicken and wrap in banana leaf prawns. For main course we ordered Red Thai curry chicken and steamed chicken basil dim sum. The staffs were friendly and welcoming especially Mr. Dilip who explained us each dish.Mocktails:Watermelon Cooler- This was really good, it had chunks of water melon and lemon , it had cucumber as well. This was really refreshing.White Devil- This is basically sprite mixed with chilly and they have rim the glass with salt. The size of the glass was quite small and I felt this was way too overpriced.Starters:Devil Chicken: This was really spicy and had right amount of spices to it. We felt the salt was little more else it was good.Banana leaf wrap prawns: This was prepared in coconut milk and it was really yummy. Just loved it. Definite try.Main Course:Red Thai Curry Chicken: This was yummy as well and the quantity was adequate. Steamed chicken basil dim sum: This was a letdown, the top portion was not cooked properly. The person who served us told that the actual person who prepares this was on leave.Overall this was a really nice place. Would definitely recommend this if you want to try some South Asian cuisine.Food: 3.5/5Ambiance: 3.5/5Value for Money: 3.5/5 foodiegorilla.com
Absolute yumminess !We just happened to chance upon this lovely place since our usual place was closed.Oh my ! The food is simply delicious, the staff simply the sweetest, music – just perfect. We had a very happy Friday dinner date.We started with sweet chilli lotus stem and thupka . It was spot on, flavoursome. Generous serving too.Dimsums were yummy too. We also tried Malaysian noodles, loved it !!Must visit. 🙂
A momo craving one evening made us head to Chung’s when this new Oriental restaurant across the street caught out eye. The ambience is bright, fresh and tasteful. We tried the: Masala Lemonade – Satisfactory Crispy chilly corn – Delicious (Extra brownie points for the large portion size) Steamed chicken basil dim sum – Good. The dipping sauces are worth mentioning. The staff are courteous and the service fast. Overall enjoyed the experience.
