Tried out this food truck the second time, this time in a food truck festival. Figure licking food. Slightly expensive. Mostly a non-vegetarian menu. Friendly owners.
tried it once when they were in yelahanka. their so called nachos are literally bingo mad angles, you can buy it for 10 bucks at a store and add a slice of Brittania cheese, chuck it in the oven for a few secs don’t waste 150 bucks on that. their bbq burger was really mediocre and over priced. the owner is really too self-absorbed. he threw out a whole bunch of cheese slices claiming he doesn’t keep cheese for over a day. it’s good to serve fresh food but that just throwing out good food. I would suggest concentrating on cooking good tasty food instead of wasting perfectly good food for marketing tactics.
Apart from desi avatar of burgers in MC Donald’s ,if anyone wants to try classic American taste than Spitfire BBQ truck provides reliable option. The food’s taste is exquisite and menu is full of varieties. Some of the must haves are Smoked Chicken Hotdog, NYC Hotdog, Hickory Smoked Pulled Chicken Burger and Chicken Steak. So next time if anyone spot their truck just give it a try.
One of the few food trucks moving around in Bangalore. We tracked them through fb and found them parked opp to corner house, kamanahalli. That was first food truck dining.Concept wise good. Food was good too. A little steep on the pricing side. You can eithrr have it their or take it home. The pork spare rib is a must try. We also had some hot dogs.Go early as they sell out like hot cakes. avrilsfoodjournee.com
I love the idea of food trucks but they need to do more than just put sausage to bun. The hot dogs come off as dry and need a better coating of cheese, mayo or whatever. However they are not bad. The menu almost ends at hot dogs and needs addition, if I may. Spitfire needs some hard work.
One of the best food trucks I’ve tried. Great stuff. Order the chicken Po boy. Their baked chips are awesome as well! Will definitely come again 🙂
The best hotdogs in town. Totally loved having the new York style after the death by chocolate in the opposite corner house. Just loved every bit of hotdogs. I now know where to eat on thursday through Saturdays..Staff is really amicable with the smile on their face attending customers. Totally remembered the movie Shef.
