I’ve been dying to write a review for this place ! If you walk in thinking this place serves Authentic Vietnamese food , you are so wrong . Because all they do is serve you Chinese food instead ! When I asked the manager about how authentic the Vietnamese food is , he said it’s not Vietnamese ! So why fool people ! We hardly ate anything and left . Upon asking for the bill . The guy runs out to get the machine to swipe the card ! And little did we realize that the restaurant is part of Chung wah ! Really crappy food ! Just because you have pictures of Vietnam on the walls doesn’t mean you can lure people into thinking it’s Vietnamese food that they are eating !
We were just going through Zomato when we came across this place. I was actually shocked to see such a low rating for a place with such a good menu.Starting off, place is easy to find and there’s easy parking. The Ambience is as expected but the place is very neat and clean and it’s actually really nice.Coming to food, 75% of what we wanted to order was unavailable from all the drinks except fresh juices, even the Vietnamese rolls(all), were unavailable. So we weren’t left with a lot of options. For starters we decided to order steamed wantons and crispy spring rolls. We ordered the pho and the chicken in black bean sauce dish. Shockingly pho was listed under starters(soups) and the chicken dish was under the main course. The chicken dish is definitely a starter or a side and the pho is definitely a main course. The pho is good, the broth is delicious. This is the only dish I’d recommend you to try. The chicken dish smelled weird but tasted okay. The wantons had an oily exterior even though they were steamed. The sauce along with the wontons was just off. The spring rolls again, something was just wrong with that, the sauce was just straight up full of chillis, I wish it was a sweet chilli sauce but this sauce was a 100% off balance. They didn’t even have chopsticks which is a basic necessity of a Vietnamese restaurant. I definitely wouldn’t recommend visiting this place.Food: 1.5/5Ambience: 4/5Service: 3/5Value for money: 2/5 (prices aren’t high, the food just isn’t worth the price!)
Not authentic Vietnamese but good food preparation. Light music and decent service. Difficult to locate the place hence not at all crowded, most orders were swiggy orders
Horrible food and horrible service. Salad is full of onion. Pho is just a clear soup with lumps of chicken. Such a disappointment. And the worst part is they are not ready to take critics
The food was lip smacking, service was quick, tried chicken wonton and chicken prosperity soup. Momos and pad thai noodles, everything was fresh and nicely done.
