Visited this cafe a few weeks back for dinner. It was better than we expected. We went for a quick bite and ordered chicken wings, chicken sliders and cheese poppers. The wings and sliders were great but didn’t enjoy the poppers as much. We also used Zomato gold so it was pretty cheap too!!!

Worst cafe ever. It’s called the Writer’s Cafe – but nothing about it shouts CAFE. Definitely not a place for a writer as the noise levels outmatch a fish market.Food: 0/5We ordered lemonade(which is like water. Water.), Sticky lemon chicken(chewy bits of what felt like gummy bears) and paneer(that tasted like space – vacuum – nothing. Bland as hell) their coffee is like water and the food is consistently served COLD. The food comes colder than the cold coffeeManagement/service – 0/5. the place doesn’t have a manager and the waiters act like they’re disinterested and take their own sweet time to serve cold food. Like they’re giving you free food.Ambience – 3/5 the ambience is probably the only decent thing that has kept this namesake cafe running. Will never visit again.
The place is a haven for lovers of books and food . They have an elaborate menu with a wide range of dishes . And the food is good and authentic to its cuisine. My personal favourite is the Kung pao Cauliflower.Their dessert counter is all paradise .The ambience is beautiful with subtle interiors , books all over the place make it every bit of interesting and cute.Perfect for a cosy little date , hangout with friends or just get your family along to try their take on the food.
We just bumped into this place while browsing new place on cmr road. Ambience, pricing, crowd, price v/s portion size, deserts are awesome. What went wrong was service, food taste was not upto the mark. We had ordered peach iced tea, penne arrabiata, veg stroganoff, herbed garlic bread, BlueBerry cheese cake and lemon Tart. This costed us 900/- after Dineout offer. Overall good place.
Ordered cheese ball and paneer sandwich which was heavenly. Awesome food for decent price. Must visit place if you want to spend some good time and have yummy food.
A no nonsense cafe. Went there on a Sunday afternoon for a coffee and to send some mails. Americano was perfect and the service was quick and attentive staff’s. The free WiFi was super fast as well. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Also as many know they have a small library by Higginbothams. This is the perfect place to grab a coffee and a book to read.
