There’s no count for the number of times I’ve visited this place. Be it lunch/dinner with friends or just impulsive decisions to drink I’ve been here in all seasons for the past three years of my UG life. This place is a hit favourite among students and youngsters to drink as the booze here is damn cheap.Apart from that one factor it attracts even families here. Their food is very varying in terms of taste and quality and trust me on this as I’ve been served the best of the foods and even the most sh**iest of it. But ill anyway list a few good items that’ll be good the most of the times. Chicken uruval tops the list as its quite consistent and authentic each time I’ve ordered, chicken ghee roast is good too, their butter garlic noodles and schezwan noodles are heavenly, their meals were a steal previously but has deteriorated drastically in quality in the recent past and is still worthy trying but not that appetising (do not forget to ask for the ice cream once done with the meal cause they dont serve it most of the times if not asked), masala papad and french fries are good accompaniments for a glass of beer, their guthu special starter is also very nice and is very contemporary in taste comes in like with white sauce kinda taste with egg omelette, chicken lollipop also is worth a shot. please avoid their biryanis cause they suck.overall I love this place for the ambience and feels it gives. Its very spacious and you can get a whole view of the city from the Atta section. I recommend it to everyone any day for a good lunch/dinner.

We went here on a public holiday so most of the staff was not there. Our order was delayed because of this. The food made up for the delay thankfully. Mutton Ghee Roast was good but the meat had more fat less meat. Prawn Sukka was delectable. Chicken Lollipop had a lot of food colouring and it was hard to chew. I’m guessing it was overcooked. In main course, the Neer Dose, Chicken Pulimunchi & Chicken Gassi was quite delicious. The thalis come with only rice so if you don’t mind that it’s a good meal for one. The ambiance is nice and they play 90s Hindi music which I found quite entertaining. I wish the service was faster but the people present were working really hard.
Very good restaurant, reasonable pricing and good ambience. Compared to other cuisine, Sea food and local Mangalorean cuisine is good, though not exceptional.The service is good.Budget friendly.Though, the restaurant has nothing that is out of the ordinary to offer.Overall it’s a ok above average restaurant.
The non veg platter that we ordered was good. But the prawn ghee roast had old frozen prawns which was very hard. On the main course was marwai pundi and prawn pundi though quantity was good it was very hard( pundi as well as prawn)
Highly recommended by the locals. Absolutely loved the chicken ghee roast and murgh dum biryani. Taste is good and ambiance is very coastal with a boat hanging frm the ceiling there are fishing nets as decor too.. must try this place if visiting mangalore..
This place even organize events, i had been here for food to attending events. Pretty much liked bothMoney worth food and good service with a guttu touch.
