The best place to taste north karnataka cuisine. Friendly staff and hygiene environment.
It’s surely a nice place with good options to relish our karnataka delicacies. For sure can be priced slightly low to make it affordable more frequently.
Ambiance: 3Food: 3 (The prices of the dishes are reasonable but the taste is very distinct).Staff: 3 (Friendly and courteous staff but not responsible and patient).Hygiene: 2 (there were cockroaches roaming around the dining area, so this made me question the maintenance).
I visited here once, order rotti oota, any sensible North K’taka person or food joint provides onions with rotti. But not this place. When asked, the waiter said, no it’s not included. I was like ‘Are you seriously a North K’taka food joint?’ The owner does not take well to review & is very rude. After many months, I thought I will give it another try & ordered Girmit Mirchi, girmit was oily with just onions equal to mandakki ratio, Mirchi was not made of besan but some other batter that was dripping oil, it smelled stale. I had to theow away the whole order as none of it was edible. I would suggest the owners to go back to their native & really learn the cuisine before ruining the name of cuisine here in B’lore. The small north k’taka mess foods are amazing than this over-prices tasteless, fake place.
