My previous order from this restaurant was nice but not today. Paratha was burnt. Shezwan Fried Rice was over cooked and burnt. Left a very bad taste in mouth and minds. When food is ordered it means that the person ordering the food has not cooked at home. So such pathetic deliveries leaves you wondering if we should order food at all. If the same was at the restaurant then it could have been returned. Does the hotel take it for granted online orders? Very disappointed. Never going to order food again from this place!
Ambience – 3.5/5 Food – 4/5 Service – 4/5 VFM – 5/5 Parking – YesWe’ve been wanting to visit Kakal Kai Ruchi for quite some time, so when we heard they’ve opened their second outlet at JP Nagar, at the erstwhile Dakshin Food Palace, we decided to visit the place without further delay.The place is hygienic and the kitchen is clean and well maintained. Service was quick, as expected from a darshini. We ordered Vada Sambar dip, Shavvige bhat and Idli for my son. And filter coffee.The food was fresh and quite tasty. Particularly loved the spicy green chutney, that went quite well with the mild shavvige bhat. Vada was not oily, and consistency was firm. Sambar was the kannadiga version, and well made. On of the hallmarks of Bangalore darshinis is the amazing filter coffee and Kakal Kai Ruchi did not dissappoint.Overall, a satisfying and healthy breakfast!

Ordered a couple of dishes and the packing was really bad. The Dal Tadka i ordered was not packed properly and it had leaked into other dishes. The delivery person was very helpful as he went back to the restaurant and got the food replaced.
Pretty good place with good quality food, it’s a bit over priced compared to other places of the same status around this place but they compensate that with the quality and service.Staff is on their toes taking orders and cleaning up efficiently.It’s a perfect place for a quick meal.Taste – 4.5/5Value – 4/5Service – 4/5Ambiance -3/5Cleanliness -4/5
