The Thatte idlis are no comparison to the ones from the Tumkur highway place. The idli taste just like rice idli, just the shape is of a plate ( Thatte), nothing extraordinary. A place easily avoided if you are looking for some authentic Thatte idli.
Thatte idli — okayish and heavyChutney Quality – bad The rest of the dishes , aren’t worth having unless you are short of budget. Hygiene is really pathetically taken care of. It’s just unclean. I think it’s better to hop a couple of lanes into Kai Ruchi.

An inexpensive , self service place to have , for a change , Bidadi Thate Idly. Good fluffy idly they serve. Their chutney is quite good and spicy .Vada and other items – average .Service and ambience – don’t expect , as prices are already quite low.Definitely worth a try if u like idli. U might do revisits , which we do.

Dont get carried away by the brand of Bidadi idly. Its need too much of betterment in quality and taste. Not advised to go planned. Double check
Location – A little ahead of Big Bazaar, JP Nagar 7th Phase.Ambiance – A spacious place. Self – service. Service – Decent. There are more staff than visitors.Price – Cheap.Taste – They serve tatte idlis – idli made in a plate and sized as big as a plate and vadas. The idlis don’t taste like the regular idlis you get at Darshini’s. And also it is not served with the much-liked sambar. Maybe that’s also a reason why this place hasn’t clicked.
