Special dishes are sometimes just a hotch potch dish in most restaurants, hardly ever genuinely special. So there’s always doubt but curiosity always gets the better of me and I order the restaurant or chef specials anyway. Today I had the coffee club special chicken soup. It looked like a schezuan kind of soup by colour with tandoori chicken pieces or the spicy shawarma chicken pieces with egg drop. Tasted good bar the onion or garlic odd pieces in the soup. Looked like a plate of spicy shawarma plate dumped into soup. I did not mind the taste – it was pretty good but quantity could have been bit more. The chicken shawarma plate was a small plate with 2 roomsli rotis and sufficient mayonnaise. I was able to make 2 shawarma rolls out of the meat n mayonnaise. Tasted good and was filling.
