Recently visited this place Machali after checking all the reviews , we went there for dinner around 8, and it was jam packed we waited like for 20 mins as it was a weekend , finally we went in and ordered fish meals , and appam wid gravy , fish fry and prawn ghee roast , the food here was mouth watering, it was woww, super spicy , it was a perfect place to have sea food , I would highly suggest this place. But only thing is it has very small place , and lil crowded too

Happened to visit mangalore to attend a wedding, on recommendation of many people we decided to have meal at this restaurant called Machali and it turned to be one of the best seafood meal.As mangalore is said to be city of seafood and this place kept the word.All dishes served were excellent, tasty and perfectly done only my vegetarian friend could not enjoy it I guess he was at wrong place.We reached there at 6:55pm as restaurant opens for dinner at 7:00 pm. We were surprised to see number of people waiting there we finished our meal by 7:45 and when we stepped out restaurant was packed and people were waiting for tables outside the restaurant, not sure about reservation process though.Overall very nice place a memorable meal and recommended to all seafoos lovers
Absolutely incredible!! My parents, husband and I had gone to Mangalore on a short visit but by my brothers recommendation made it a point to visit this speedy local restaurant. Had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table cause it was soooo packed. I would’ve waited longer the food was sooooo worth it!! We ate so much we couldn’t breathe! Absolutely sensational!Crab ghee roast, prawn ghee roast, deep fried prawns, tawa fry fish and rawa fry fish. The rasam and taak is on point (I had about 7 glasses of taak) totally bill was approximately 1600 which was quite unbelievable!! Definitely a must visit!!
My 100% go to place for seafood ..anyday, anytime. The seafood here is always fresh and delicious. Everything here is amazing but some of my favorites are the meals,chicken biriyani, anjal tawa fry,anjal masala fry, prawn fry , prawn ghee roast , chicken SuklaThis place is always full so there will always be a queue . I suggest you go before 1 o clock in the afternoon.
