I went to have breakfast and took idly vada. The quantity of chutney and sambhar was very less and people are not interested in serving. They were not giving half cup of sambhar and chutney for idly vada plate. Idly was very thin and would break before it comes to your plate.Moreover from price prospects there are various other options which are more cheaper. Moreover the price @ menu and price they charge are different and just say price have changed for eg paper masala dosa was rs 50 as per menu but charged RS 60. Why is menu price set incorrectly since it’s a new establishment
I visited this place on 15th of Aug. This is a new hotel that’s opened in Isro Layout (Just before Isro layout bus stand if u r coming from Kumarswamy layout side). My brother had raved about this place and apparently, they don’t use ajino moto or dalda or baking soda. Nevertheless, during my first visit, I tried Aloo palav and Kharabath. To begin with, the price for the rice bath is 40/- which is slightly skewed in the first place. There are similar hotels that serve rice bath at 30 /- or 35/-. After the first bite, I realized without the chutney it will not get down your throat. It was that dry. They probably showed the oil and didn’t mean to use it. Khara bath was the lifesaver on that day. It was just about good and nothing out of the world. Finally settled for coffee. I could also see some commotion near the tea counter. There were a lot of unhappy souls complaining about the tea that was served. Apparently, it was bad and many were just leaving it the way it is and walking out. During my next visit, I had idly. It was just about good and nothing great. During my third visit, I had ghee rice. While ghee rice was just about average, the sagu that was served along with it wasn’t the best. It was sweet. Ghee rice with Sweet sagu was the biggest let down for me. I may or may not visit again and maybe if the food tastes better, then I shall change the ratings accordingly.
