After hearing a great response from umpteen people about Polamma’s Mess, I finally managed to visit that place. It’s located at CL Layout(close to Christ University and Accenture). Seats usually get filled by 12:30pm. They serve Chinese food as well but they are mainly famous for Andhra style cuisine. Beauty of Polamma Mess is they serve the food on plantain leaf and give main importance to quality. Coming to the food, I hadBoneless Chicken Biryani: This item was way beyond my expectation. It was quite luscious with flavourful rice and juicy chicken(served with raitha and gravy)Chilli Chicken: It’s a semi-gravy dish topped with green chillies. Its an absolute delight for chicken lovers. Pieces were tender and well cooked!!!Ambience isn’t that great but food trumps all. Price of the food is pocket friendly and service is quite amiable. I would surely like to visit this place once again. It’s a must try for those who like Andhra style cuisine!!!

Brilliant place.. always crowded with college students and office goers. Must go very early yo grab a seat. They gets super crowded even as early as 12.15. Loved the food here. I will recommend the andhra meals, biryani, mutton pepper fry, chicken fry & andhra chili chicken. Damn tasty. Pricing is so cheap and food is fantastic. Avoid the ambiance and enjoy the food.Must visit for andhra food lovers.
They food over polamma’s is too good. It’s worth the cost and their prawn biryani is something out of the box. The place isn’t too big but it’s clean enough and hygienic.Tatha Lakshmilahari
A haunt for Christites and young working professionals around for Andhra meals. The veg meals are simply my favorite. The food items are moderately priced for non veg.
I ordered twice from here and both the dishes were really good. I’ve ordered only a starter both time- French chicken and chicken roast dry. Both were good. It is a little spicy so if you don’t like spicy food, maybe you won’t like it. But if that is not an issue with you, then give this place a try. The price is also very reasonable.I will definitely visit this place once and try proper food instead of just starters. I’m sure I’ll like it.
