I had been here for lunch with my best friend and as everyone suggested we ordered for thai crunchy chicken and shin min rice. The waiter was very friendly and suggested sizzling rice soup . We went as per his suggestion and called for it. It was delivered in few minutes and the quantity was too good and tasted really good. Then comes the starter thai crunchy chicken which is thier signature dish which tasted as good as it looks. At the end for main course it was Shin Min rice which we took the combination of pork and prawns which tasted amazing. Overall experience was good. But yes the old Hao Ming taste was missing for me. I wish to see the old Hao Ming taste back.
This place is a hidden gem in Mangalore for amazing Indo Chinese food.I have been to Mangalore multiple times and was never happy with their Chinese and this place changed my mind completely.They had their own twists to most of the dishes which worked perfectly. It was also a great pleasure to see pork dishes being served since Chinese works amazingly with pork as compared to any other protein.One point I would cancel out was the ambiance, for some reason it had a very dark and dingy feeling to it. Not somewhere i would have expect a lot of positives if I wasn’t informed about the place specifically for the food. They had a good fountain and with the right paint job and some lightings this place could turn around completely.
