My first trip to managlore and first restaurant to have dinner. Indeed great experience. Managlore famous dish I tried out here and it’s just mind-blowing.Kane fish – 5/5Kori roti & chicken gravy 5/5Fried ice-cream – 5/5 (Chocolate coated with dry fruit and Vanilla in center) unique ice cream ever I had.
Well there was really a confusion because I entered into the restaurant called Gauji Gammath but ended up reaching Niravana passing by the wonderfull kitchen. Then later I got to know those were two different interconnected.Well the hospitality was great. The place is not crowed even sundays. The best place to dine with family or friends with some peace. The restaurant is finely decored with the good interior and also with 2 LED tvs. It also had a separate bar section where all the liquor were arranged beautifully. We were here on my friend’s birthday treat. So we ordered Food Items:1) CHICKEN MANCHOW SOUP: This is my all time favorite soup. Whereever I go I expect this soup to be best. They serve the best Manchow soups. The consistency of the soup, the taste all where perfect.I would rate it 5/5.2) CHICKEN LOLLYPOP: This one is also my favorite Chinese dish. There were very few restaurants that satisfied me with this dish. But here I must say that they served one of the best chicken lollypop. The quantity is really the best. I would rate this 5/5.3) HAKKA CHICKEN NOODLES: Once again a Chinese dish. With good combination of all the veggies, chicken and egg. Again quantity wise it was great.5/5.4) DESSERT: VANNILA SCOOPThe reason to mention this was the way they served it with a kind of Indo-Western kind of a wine glass. 5/5.The price are also very reasonable.Enjoyed being there.
Ambience is above average and a decent family place , quality of food is good with good flavours but it’s overpriced , quality is average, their biryani is a must try item there
Nirvana was unexpectedly very good. The food is great here. Mushroom ghee roast is worth a try. Price just fits the pocket. 500 per person if you consider both veg and non veg. Nice place to have dinner with good companyFood — 4.0Ambience — 3.5Value for money — 3.5
I have been here once was recommended by a friend,as said had high hopes about the food.just ordered for masala papad, neerr dosa and ghee roast.Hahah masala papad can’t go wrong the dosas were good but the ghee roast wasn’t good at all the taste was good but sadly the chicken wasn’t boiled.now that’s something I don’t think any customer wants to eat.
Have just visited this place once after seeing the review on 3 hungry men. Decided to go have a look for ourselves. The setting seems very typical of standard Indian restaurants for family (we sat in the AC non smoking side). The food was very tasty and the prices were reasonable. Spotless and cleanly maintained joint too. Tried the Mongolian chicken for starter and dhaniya chicken gravy for main course. Both were excellent and tasty. I do plan to visit again soon.
Recommended by a Close Friend of Mine, when I told we were search of Biryani which is Light. So this place was mentioned.First I entered Gauji Gammath, but been a smoking zone was a big no-no. So I asked the non smoking zone, At first they did not understand what was my request. Finally they led me into Nirvana. This place had few guests,so good thing was audible level were quite low, then the AC quite cool, resulting in comfort in dining.Seeing the Menu,I knew a typical dine-in place where food for general class of people. So I ordered for Mutton Dum Biryani and Murgh Malai Tikka.Mutton biryani was decent good, quite lesser version thn that of Pind Mini Punjab, which I had tried recently. The Flavor do not punch you out,it is very mild, calm and mild.At My request to provide Murgh Malai Tikka later is because normally starters come first even if the main course is ordered together, implies that guest will have wait longer. This dish was a shot in the dark, purposefully ordered to know whether the dish is genuine here. It was quite tasty, but only flaw was the choice from which part the meat was taken. Normally the Chicken breast meat is whiter and drier,so hence while cutting one has put some effort and it gets dry in the mouth. i prefer tikka to be always succulent, juicy, warm, fresh, aromatic. The price is little on the higher side if one sees the category of this cuisine and type. The place is,if not full, quite a preference over the other well ones, just to avoid the crowd, and stay hidden underground. Staff were polite though bit predictable. I would visit again if had a chance.
