The setup is beautiful, with greenery all around, a Victorian looking horse cart and a pond full of geese, you get beautiful vintage vibes from the dully lit restaurant. (A little too dull, making it a bit difficult to even read the menu in the evening)The wait staff was quick and polite and passed around a couple of menu pages clipped to a notepad. We started with a round of roasted tomato and garlic soup. I always judge a restaurant’s quality with it’s tomato soup and this one was top notch! We followed with a couple of family friendly (mediocre) appetizers like hara bhara kababs, chilli babycorn and sprouted salad. I had gulped down some water only to find a terrible smell in the glass. For the mains, we’d ordered a mushroom risotto, penne Alfredo, vegetarian sizzler, lasagna, Thai green curry and schezwan rice. Things that tasted brilliant – Thai curry with a perfect balance, lasagna with just the right level of filling and portioning. While the pasta and risotto tasted good, there was an off smell to the sauce and garlic bread, something that possibly comes when you mix butter and mozzarella and melt it together. It made the eating part a rather unpleasant and forceful business. But having finished all this we moved to the desert which was the star of the show. The almond cheesecake was nothing short of heavenly. With a lovely blend of vanilla, almonds and mascarpone, the base was in perfect proportion to the cheese layer and we couldn’t get enough of it!Verdict: Definitely going back for the geese and cheese(cake)!
Have been to this place a couple of times for lunch, it’s a a lovley place to relax and spend the afternoon eating good food. The food was great and the service was somewhat slow but the place always attracts you for it’s pleasant aura..
You order something and get something else. Please check and make sure you’ve got what you ordered before the delivery boy leaves the parcel and go. #Ignorant #Unprofessional
Went there for dinner..We were a group of five. Ambience was awesome.. Starters were yummy.. Achari chicken was delicious..We had spaghetti arabia and barbecue chicken.Spagetti Arrabbiata was really nice..
The service is extremely bad with really poor hygiene. There were more flies on the table than spoon and forks. What was even more annoying than the flies were the two turkies that were constantly running around the table. The food was average and the staff didnt even bother to inform about the last order. Overall it was a poor experience
while coming from wayand we had lunch from here, ordered naan, veg pulav, butter chicken , paneer and couple of starters. Food taste was decent, service is not so great, ambiance of the restaurant is awesome.
