The place is centrally located in Bangalore and is on the rooftop of IBIS Bengaluru city center. The place has a nice view of the city and is perfect to sit and enjoy Bangalore weather. Both Food and Drinks are served out of converted trucks. The dishes are named after the street food. Some of the dishes we tried were Dahi ke Pithore, Jimikand ki Tikki, Chicken Chintamani, Paneer ke Sule and Tawa Idli.In cocktails we tried KA05- Jayanagar, KA60 – RT Nagar, KA50 – Yelahanka which are named after various RTOs within Bangalore region. The staff is polite and service is good. One should definitely try this place for a nice experience.

Food: We tried a few things, personally everything was just amazing. They were all super fresh and delicious. Channa jor garam, which was fresh and delicious to munch on.Peanut Togorashit, which is a twist on the classic bar snack peanut masala.Dahi ke pithore, this is one of my favorites. Definitely a must-try.Prawn thokku, loved how soft and well cooked the prawns are!chicken chintamani – loved how yummy this is. has a lot of character to it and definitely something that will always be on our table every time we go here.Bohri samosa – mutton keema filling and medium spicy and definitely a treat to eat.Haleem – this is slightly heavier munchie, loved how soft the haleem was.Drinks: The drinks are by far my favorite. the drinks are all themed with respect to different regions in Bangalore. Indiranagar- servers 4 people and consists of a masaledar aam Panna.RT nagar – Love how fresh and sweet this is.Jayanagar – love the presentation of this bottle.Shantinagar – Definite must try for all the coffee lovers.Electronic city – Definitely made for a chai lover. KR Puram – My personal favorite, these Alcoholic popsicles are definitely a must-try!Dessert: we tried a sharing platter complete with lovely bits of all their desserts. My personal favorite is their malai kulfi and the roasted mawa cake with ice-cream.Ambiance: definitely giving a 10/10 for the creativity and loved how friendly and polite the staff was. I love the presentation of food and drinks. The staff explained every drink and the theme of the whole place. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Diwali night in full swing and I wanted to catch up with a friend in the vicinity and we chose KA01. We booked online for a table and when we walked in at the designated hour, realised we literally had the whole restaurant to ourselves! Yeah, the perks of festivals.KA01 has a nice outdoorsy space, but covered space and luckily the rain gods were not beating down and we had a decent view of the city below at that height. They have a mishmash of seating suiting everyone from couples to larger groups and the signage around is a fun kitschy mix of bollywood and truck art.We unlocked the drinks offer and got a KA60-RT Nagar and a KA53-KR Puram. To munch we got a Channa Jor Garam, Prawn Tokku and Jimikandhi ki tikki. The drinks were interesting and I think it’s the KA53, which comes as a ice lolly in the glass of ice, was the more interesting of the lot. The booze quotent was a tad mild.Off the eats, the Channa was very good and as was the prawn and yam based starters. I personally get a little miffed when I see odd no portions, because then sharing is an issue, but I thought the prawn had a nice bite to it.This place has a few items listed as larger plates and we chose to go all eggy, with thekarandi omlette and the ros omlette pav. The Ros omlette was delicious and came between generously buttered pav and a bowl of midly spicy chicken curry, I found the whole combo fab! The karandi on the other hand came in the south Indian kulipaniyaram vessel, which looked great, but the omlette balls by themselves were bland, but the accompanying gingery sauce was yum! But on the whole, didn’t feel as complete as the Ros.We decided to split the malai kulfi with pineapples. The grilled pineapple with the perfectly sweet kulfi and Rose faluda sauce, was awesome and really hit the spot! The service was pretty brisk and friendly and with the fireworks outside and some nice tropical house tracks on the sound system, it was a very relaxed evening indeed.Ambience-8.5Food/Drinks-8Service-8.5Overall-8.5

There is nothing that o don’t love about this place. The rooftop ambience, the decor, music, service, the food, the 2+2 on drinks courtesy Zomato Gold, this place is an absolute delight. We ordered quarter portions of chicken chintamani and Galouti pakwaan, a plate of chana jor garam for starters. Irani seekh kabab for our mains and Pan fried mawa cake for dessert. If only we weren’t so full and could eat more!!An absolute gastronomical delight.

You know what’s awesome in Bangalore weather, especially when it’s raining? A covered rooftop so you can enjoy the rain and yet not get drenched. The decor is really quirky and fun. But really, the food stole the show!We tried their Ghee roast arbi, prawn thokku, paneer ke sule (served with yummy dal makhani), their guptaji style aloo burger (which tastes like vada pav tbh), a betki Puri (you’ll love it if you like mustard), and a giant dessert platter. Wow!Overall, it was an amazing meal with a great ambience and a beautiful view!

Nice place. Open air goes really well with the lovely Bangalore weather. And especially this place which is all about Bangalore. Ka 01 has cocoktails named after most of the bangalore pin codes. Not a cocktail fan but most of them we tried were really good. Each had a unique story about them which were shared by the staff. Cocktails are nice. The food is the fusion variety. Well presented and tasted pretty decent too. Missed the desserts but will love to try them sometime later. Quite a nice experience it was !!
