  Review is only for the North Indian and South Indian thalis served during lunch. South Indian thali is not served for dinner.Nestled behind Hotel Capitol is this hotel which houses a restaurant named Mallige which serves a very good South Indian Thali. This place predominantly caters to people who work in the surrounding areas which include the High Court (would definitely recommend this place to my fellow lawyer friends, but go here when you don’t have to rush back to Court or Office after lunch, as the service here is slow), Vidhana Soudha etc. Definitely priced more than your regular Darshini but its good quality stuff here and will definitely fill you up till the brim.The ambiance is pretty decent. Service is really slow as the restaurant gets over crowded during that peak lunch hour. You might have to wait for at least five minutes to even place your order. Hygiene is up to the mark and that will not be a matter of concern here.The South Indian Meal has to be the star here. It consists of the regular stuff like a couple of puris, a dry vegetable palya (sauteed vegetables mixed in some light spices), crud, rice, rasam and ‘huli’ or the thickened version of the sambhar, is really good. Quality of all these preparations is exceptional. The North Indian meal is pretty average and not rave worthy, go for it only if you are tired of South Indian food.#BestofBangalore
