This place is in the middle of Commercial Street where it’s really difficult to find a good place. When such is the scenario, there is one place which comes in as a breather and that is this place. It’s not too good as it could have been maintained well and taste could have been better but still there is some place where you can go when you are tired and want to hog some food in sucha place!!We had ordered lime juice, Masala Puri and Pav Bhaji.Pav Bhaji was detectably good with some pakka North style Masala by being not too spicy, a bit sour and tangy taste will leave you asking for more.Masala Puri was average, the masala was not too tasty.Lime juice : This juice just made me forget my thirst for a longer time, such refreshing drink to keep my thirst at bay.Ambience – 3/5Pricing – 3.5/5Taste – 3.5/5
love love love the pani puri here and the service and friendliness of theguys who serve it! tempted me to write a review ! definitely drop by here for quick bites 🙂
Best place to spend time with friend for quick snacks and ice cream and drinks.Crowded as always no compromise in quality and quantity and services.Knowing this place for more than 10yrs never let me down for any of there menu items.
We went here just looking at the number of people jostling in and out of this restaurant. We thought maybe it serves good food, that’s the reason so many people are eating here. The place looks dingy and no ambiance whatsoever. Still, we braved all this and found ourselves a table and ordered the noodles, Gobi Manchurian and paneer fry. Noodles was dripping with oil and Gobi had so much sauce and looked quite weird on the plate. Tasted below average. The place is quite unclean. And the people working here are quite rude or maybe I’m not used to being treated that way in a restaurant, because I found the other customers quite okay with the way they spoke.Below average place, you can give it a miss and go to RS Shiv Sagar any day.
I was hunting for a place on Commercial street and happened to see ‘Pav Bhaji’ on the restaurant’s menu. Being a Mumbaikar, I just entered the restaurant. I ordered a Pav Bhaji. It was actually like a typical Mumbai Pav Bhaji. Nothing fancy but nothing that underwhelmed. The pav could have had been better. Next time, I wanted to try samosa or kachori chaat. They didn’t have that available. So I settled for Schezwan Noodles. It was average so to speak. The flavor of schezwan wasn’t strong. Overall, the ambiance has nothing to speak of. This hygiene is just about the bare minimum. The Pav Bhaji was something that saved the grace.
The place is always crowded. You have to share tables with other people. I have been there with my friends few times.. Liked the dosas and the simple rice dish and also the paneer which we ordered. Aloo gobhi was average. Rather than that the service is quiet fast. Good place for some decent fill and for some quick bites and its economical.
