It so happened that I got a opportunity to visit Bangalore for a day , having taking a train early morning , we reach close to an hour before afternoon begins. Time was running out , so I made a quick dash to the Chancery Pavilion Hotel , the Alchemy restaurant. This place is known for Indian Fusion dishes. It will be another adventure to venture on.But First to cool off , Beer was recommended , so I had Wheat Beer from the wide range of choices they had offered. When it was time to eat arrived , I had to start to strategize my main courses. I decided to have scallops as starters, so to confirm this I had a word with Mr. Gaurav who is the Executive Chef. In a few minutes of talk , we arrived what the next courses of dishes would be lined for me : Scallops , Bugogi , Kerala Lamb with Stuffed Peas Kulcha , and some surprising desserts. He had informed me that the Dishes will be made with Chef Subham , incidentally the Head Chef of Alchemy. The Scallops were terrific , delicate.I quite didn’t expect scallops in Indian cuisine and how would the flavor would come out as nice. But it was spot on. Then next one was Bugogi , this one was quick bite dish, light juicy flavor chicken,so it will tingle the tongue Believe me after having these two dishes , my appetite increased for more. Then followed by Kerala Lamb dish, another Scallops Dish improvised with Pork Belly as main course. Finally came the Desserts : Cheese Cake and Brownie. It was absolute delightful to end the afternoon meal with something to remember and remember it sweetly as memory and as well in the Mouth.Overall I enjoyed the Lunch , it was light – in my sense it does not make you feel that you are carrying something very heavy at the center – yet it fills you with sense of satisfaction , it flows from one dish to another will take you along. Looking forward for another visit soon.

No doubt one of the best stout and saison I had. Special mention of the saison which was really refreshing and crisp. Totally loved the balance. Not much for the fusion food but totally loved it. The coorgi pork belly, beef was superb. However certain flaws like the anchovies batter fried was a terrible idea. Special mention of the chef Shubam who was open to our feedback and was really brimming with positivity. Neeraj who waited on us food a good job too. I am definitely not a dessert guy but totally loved the Mysore pak cheese cake and the coconut ice cream. Overall I would give it a 3.75Food: 4Drinks : 4.5Ambience: 3.5The whole experience was good but a lil boring though. Cheers

Alchemy is situated in the roof top of The chancery Pavilion in MG road with soul soothing ambience!!With polite staff and bright atmosphere food and beers were amazing.Ordered chicken tikka, few beer samplers, Stout and Paper yacht IPA craft beers.Chicken tikka was too soft with rich flavour and brilliant presentation.Loved the paper yacht IPA with wonderful flavours of tropical fruits with the right bitterness!!Stout beer from Alchemy is one of the best of its kind I had in Bangalore. It had rich coffee, chocolate and vanilla flavours, medium bodied with good head retention.Beer prices could have been slightly lesser :)Will definitely visit this microbrewery again for sure because if its ambience and beers!!!!
