Amazing coffee at Anantha..was my first but was very impressed. I can just sit there and have a copious amount. No buttery residue, no milk cream on top..just hot strong perfectly brewed coffee .The Mirchi Bhajji was not that great.. too oily and not really spicy

A simple restaurant with good taste . The meals & snacks are traditional & good without any fanfare . For taste would give 4/5 . Being in the business location , car park is not an issue .

One of the iconic old Bengaluru places. It’s nice to see the quality being maintained after all these years.I was super happy to see that the Sambar has actual veggies like beans and carrots in it. Very tasty stuff! :)If the service staff became more friendly, it would be great.

Had the akki roti and really enjoyed it. Kurma was great. Only think I’d that it’s 60 bucks for one large roti which is a teeny bit expensive for a Sagar but still reasonable by normal standards. Great service too!

3.5*When you are on a nostalgia trip in Bangalore, go here for a small dose of it….looks same as it would have in the 80’s and 90’s (I guess…I don’t remember this place). The customers are mostly ones who are staying in the hotel …I seemed to have been the only person who walked to this place from outside. I had the regular idli vada coffee, just average. Old servers and old fashioned service, pleasant enough. Unpleasant on that particular day was a loud customer (who seemed to have come there for a wedding as both he and wife were dressed in wedding finery) who was spouting his opinions on the Cauvery issue in tamil and English, I think he thought of all the patrons as captive audience there. His narrative was loud and aggressive, no one reacted or watched him but this person literally pushed me off my better table and I could not get another table far enough to ensure a calm and happy breakfast time.

Set out in a corner, prefect for the small coffee break. Takes a bit of time although to be served. Have some of the great coffees. Ambience isn’t all that great. Overall great experience.
