Descent chat house in Brigade road . You will find good alloo paratha with peacefull space. Proper dinning is not there.Most of the people are coming after Eve. U will find good panni poori and samoosa chat too. Not that much tastie chats
Historic touch, with old model fans, and very old style of service , cutlery also had a vintage touch, I think that’s the USP, food is not out of the blue, it’s very simple snacks. I think the vibe of vintage is what people go here for . Service is good
This place is an okay okay types if you want to stay away from the brigade road crowd and have some chats or samosa. The ambiance is not at all fancy, prices being reasonable. Had samosa at this place, they were not properly heated. Other items you can get are masala puri, papdi chaat etc. They also provide lassi , soda etc. A considerable option to end your evening cravings while hopping around. eatsandexplores.wordpress.com
Our go to chaat wala. Paani puri is good, prices are decent and the dahi puri and masala puri are good too.Hes always been friendly and ever ready to feed us with more plates of pani puri, throwing in an extra plate here and there. Month end meals were here a lot.Throughout my time in Bangalore he was pretty consistent.
Never ever go this place for Chats. The worst chat I have ever had. A disgrace to the name Koshy’s and Calcutta and Chats. The methi paratha was not that bad though.
The ambience and service is just ok. The place is small. The price is very reasonable and pocket friendly, especially being on brigade road! Coming to the food, the parathas are good and very filling. They serve two big parathas with green chutney, sabji, curd mixed with chilli and chaat powder. Tried the aloo, gobi and paneer paratha. In the chaat section, tried the papdi chaat, masala and pani puri. It was tasty. Tried the sweet lassi and masala soda. Which was the perfect ending!
Chat is my second love, after desserts ofcourse. On a scorching sunny day, after a failed shopping spree and hungry as hell, we decided to head to Koshys Calcutta Chats.Located in a dingy corner, adjacent to the Bata showroom, it’s a small little place.We tried the sev Puri and Dahi puri, both of which were very bland,guy diluted the Dahi and imli chutney right in front of me, my heart just broke into pieces, how I wish he’d topped my chat with some rich curd instead. Lemon soda was a huge disappointment too, come on, how can one go wrong with lemon soda.Overall I would say, one of the few chat options on Brigade road, however not a preferred option for me. alittlebitofcaro.wordpress.com
