VALUE for money. I am da first person writing a review but have been to this hotel for past 20 years. Beef biryani, chicken biryani, sheek, chops are brilliant. Atmosphere is good, it’s an old building, so has the old world charm
The new select hotel lies very close to johnson market in Richmond. Dishes like #Ghee rice, #beef phal,#kabab varieties( beef & chicken ), #Porotta are famous here, Very old n traditional n well maintained building with some capacity of 25-30 ppl, it is known for budget friendly lunch in the area. Approx 130-150 per person.
This humble eatery lies in the shadows of the much better-known Fanoos, both literally and figuratively. Their beef biryani is usually cooked just right (though there was one occasion I went when it wasn’t so tender). On the whole though I would say great taste, low prices and a reasonable variety of choices in their menu.
If you are hard core non-vegetarian this is the place to go! I had the beef sheekh kababs and phal and both were just too good! The place isn’t as big and definitely will not recommend going with family. However many people who come with family order the food and have it in their cars parked outside the restaurant. I have also heard a lot about their beef Biryani so I’ll definitely visit this place again to try that.
