Nestled in Ashok Nagar on Wood Street a beautiful place and a perfect one for a romantic evening or a lazy afternoon. This place has some good interiors and the ambience is very good. A please for a good date with your BAE. Music is lovely and the food is delicious, and the drinks are good. Service can improve. This place is well maintained and kept clean. The pizza oven on the other end of the restaurant is quieter and more secluded.Try their pizza, I loved it.
The service is very good, they are there no matter what! Food is yummmm and kudos to the ambience and maintenance team. They are courteous and suggestiveCons: Service as mentioned is good, but too much of their presence is not good too
We happen to visit this place during the Dasara festivities. I have been planning to visit this place for quite some time.Food- Spinach, bathua and feta cheese(It was pretty yummy, thick soup and very hearty)We also ordered the small eats. The small eats included, the Brie En Croute(This was wrapped in pastry, like a puff & steamed with caremelized onions and orange marmalade, prunes, very unique and yummy)Gambas pil pil (This was shrimps steeped in aromatic garlic served with grilled crusty sour dough slices, very yummy and well cooked. I felt the salt was little too much)For main course, we had ordered their slow roasted Salmon, sautéed asparagus, white wine and whole butter emulsion.. Well cooked and pretty light)The wild mushroom ragu was a gooey and thick dish. It was slow cooked oyster, shiitake and button mushrooms with fresh thyme and porcini(Yummy, but very heavy)We had also ordered for the sangria (Non alcoholic, it was tender coconut water, with loads of cut fruits, orange, pomegranate, apples and basil seeds, cool and refreshing drink)Ambience- The ambience has a Greek aura with white and blue decor, very Mediterranean and it immediately transports you to a Mediterranean country Vale for money- Moderately expensive Customer service- The 3 rating is for the customer service and I will tell you what we thought is the area of opportunity. When you come to a place like this, you expect the person who is taking the order to be knowledgeable about the menu. We asked this steward about the soup type, we were little confused whether to go for the sea food soup or the spinach soup and wanted someone to guide us. Displayed very poor knowledge. It is more like just an order taker. Nobody smiles in this place, except for the receptionist! The person who took the order and someone who served the food were absolutely grumpy, yes you heard that right! Grumpy! When you come to one of the romantic places(Well that’s what you seem to claim, you don’t want to see people super sad, gloomy etc!)I also observed that there were candles lit for a large group, however, there was no candle were we were seated. I had to ask the person to light the candle, he didn’t look very proactive nor happy to do the same.Pls improve the user experience!
This place is perfect for a romantic candlelight dinner. Great food, delicious taste, great mocktails and the candlelight set up will definitely lighten up your mood. Only thing is its little bit expensive. Also it may be because a lot of foreigners visit this place. Otherwise its just a perfect place for a romantic getaway. I had a great time here.
Went here last week and was a bit disappointed compared to my visit last year. Chicken Liver Patte was a let down. The main course is what made us feel better. Giving it a 4/5 based on previous experience. Hope I don’t get disappointed next time.
Olive beach, This place is as beautiful as the name is. Your go to destination for a romantic date. Food is yummy ambience is way beyond Beautiful. Take your partner if you are looking for a candle light dinner kinda destination in and around bangalore. I loved the pizza here, definitely going back for more.
Such a beautiful place! Away from the hustle bustle of the city even though it is right at the heart of the city. That is how different this place is. Takes you to a different world. The place is so well done. Be the interiors or the ambiance. They lit up the stairs with candles and all and it automatically made my heart full with happiness. A guy wont have to do much when he wants to take his girl to experience something special in this place. Its all done already. Music is nice. Food really delicious. Drinks good. Service is good but could be a tad bit faster. Price is a bit on the higher end but frankly i dont think anyone would mind spending it in a place like this. It deserves it and is worth the money. Overall one of the most delicately posh romantic places in bangalore i have been till date.Edit:Went back after years and have to mention they have still maintained the place and the food and is still top class.
