Loved the newly curated menu at Soda Bottle Opener Wala ! Their Chicken Berry Pulao and Baita Roti were phenomenal. The Chocolate Mousse and Mawa Cake with Vanilla Ice cream are what dreams are made of ! In fact, the amazing staff even gave us a sampler of a new dessert they are introducing. I don’t know what they call it, but it was a triple layer chocolate delight. I hope they introduce it into their menu soon ! I was a little disappointed that the removed their legendary bacon vada pavs from the menu. But the amazingly refreshing Raspberry Soda made up for it ! Hands down the best Parsi Restaurant in Bangalore.

If you want to try out some good Parsi food, this is the place! Been long overdue since I wanted to try this restaurant and I finally got around to do it this weekend, and the food and ambience won my heart! The top 3 things I loved from the menu would be the Chicken Farcha (must try), Parsi Masala Roast and Five Berry Sober Sangria. Also tried out cocktails Finding Fenny and Greater Than Chai, both have an unusually good taste.Ordered the Chicken Masala Khari pizza, make sure you know that the base is going to be hard (khari) before ordering, and if that works for you, you’ll love it, as for me the base and the topping of the pizza didnt go well.Loved the hospitality and the service, the waiter was so happy and jolly all the while! After 10, they dimmed the lights and started playing old bollywood songs which made me love the ambience even more! I’ll surely be coming back here soon.

Long pending visit and it was excellent to say the least. The starters and desserts were exceptional. Chicken farcha, prawns, baida chicken were impeccable. In desserts, mousse melted my heart, probably the best mousse i ever had. The coffee cake was too good! Berry pulaos were overrated though and too less in portion for the price. All in all a great experience. Will visit again soon to explore the menu further. Don’t forget to take some pan pasands kept at the door 😉

A perfect goto place for Parsi food lovers. Their Bar Snacks are amazing, if you are a Chicken lover do try their Chicken Farcha & Chicken Baida Roti & if you are a mutton lover do try their Mutton Pattice & Bhendi Bazar Seekh Paratha. We also tried the Kundapuri Prawns, but it was okies, it just tasted like fried prawns. Their Chicken Berry Pulao was also good & had a different kinda flavour. If you are a big Parsi cuisine fan & long for those small parsi restaurants of Mumbai, then this place is definitely a must visit. & Last but not the least don’t forget to try their Iranian tea.

The Best Parsi Restaurant in Bangalore. As it was Tea Time, we could try only Irani Chai, Bun Maska and Ginger Biscuit. Irani Chai was perfect and refreshing. Bun Maska was authentic and light. Ginger Biscuit was crispy and good. Our host Mr. Karthik Nair was very polite and friendly and helping us to know the Parsi Dish. The Restaurant has good ambience with old Hindi Music in the background. Friendly Staff and good hospitality by the Management. Perfect place to have tea. Will visit again for main course – Vegetable Berry Pulao. Thanks for providing good food.

‘SodaBottleOpenerWala’ is an authentic parsi restaurant, situated on Lavelle Road. The ambience is phenomenal. You feel like you’ve entered a Parsi restaurant in Bombay. I cannot even begin to describe how beautiful the interiors are and how much thought has gone into each and every tiny detail. Truly, the most aesthetic restaurant I’ve ever been to. True to the cuisine. Although, I was a tad bit disappointed as I had heard that they play some amazing music, which, wasn’t the case when we visited for lunch – There wasn’t any music. Other than that, everything else is top notch!Coming to the food, here’s what we ordered:1. Eggs kejriwal – After reading the amazing reviews, I had to try it despite going here for lunch. And I must say, it was delicious. Definitely a MUST TRY!2. Irani chai – This too was delectable especially with the jaggery powder. And the biscuit tastes so different. It’s something I’ve never tried before and something you’ll only find in SBOW.3. Chicken farcha – Now although the chicken tasted good, the quantity dissappointed me. For that pricing, you get 5 pieces. Not worth it.4. Salli chicken – Salli is the potato fries on the gravy. That’s it. I thought it was going to be something unique but it was nothing extraordinary. The gravy tasted good and the chicken was perfectly cooked. They serve it with pav, but I liked it better with steamed rice.5. Berry pulav – This was the reason why we visited SBOW and I must say, it didn’t disappoint. It was perfectly cooked, delicious and fulfilling. It can be shared by two people and is probably one of the few things that is reasonably priced. Also, it is a bit dry. I would recommend some gravy to go along with it.Overall, the food is quite delicious and I would say that it’s definitely worth a try. SBOW is definitely pricey. So make sure you have your pockets full before you go here. The service is excellent. The staff knows the menu very well and recommend dishes that you might enjoy. Special mention to the lady who greeted us at the entrance. She is wonderful. She truly made our experience amazing from the minute we entered the restaurant. A big thumbs up!So, ‘SodaBottleOpenerWala’ is a perfect solution to all your parsi cravings. The food is excellent, ambience is phenomenal and service is extraordinary. It is definitely a must visit while you’re in Bangalore.Overall rating:Food – 4/5Service – 4/5Ambience – 5/5
