I have always wanted to try the famed Dharwad Pedha (a sweet that has a GI tag) from Uttara Karnataka. After searching online for the best place to buy them in Bengaluru, I came across this one. The Mishra Line Bazaar shop is the most famous in Dharwad according to an online article that I read. So purchased a quarter kilo box. The sweet doesn’t require refrigeration. Powdered sugar coated the sweet. I felt that the sweetness was a little too much and I could not have two of them in a row. But still as far as I know this is one of the most authentic places to get the Pedhas in Bengaluru.
Lovely pedas here. They’re to die for. Ordered it from a common online portal and had it delivered to my doorstep, in Kolkata. The pedas are irregular in shape and are sprinkled with sugar. The pedas are soft and have the perfect amount of sweetness in them. They’re pretty famous in and around Bangalore. It’s a must try.

More of a sweets place than a snack place. They accept Sodexos which is a plus. They have a range of sweets including the authentic Dharwad Mishra Peda. If you’re visiting them, do not miss checking out the Davangere Benne Dosa (Dharwad Mane), which is bang opposite to this place.
