Ok this was my first encounter with the dish falafel. A healthy dish with mouth watering taste. At falafel’s they provide the falafel in two varieties: pita and roll. Had the maxican falafel pita one with lime soda .Located in the food court of Orion mall.
One of the place in the food court. I had a Lebanese craving and ended up going here. The food takes time and well the quantity is not enough to fill a 3 year old kid unless you try the shwarma which is the only decent thing there on the menu which is easy on the pocket and fills you up as well. With so many options in the food court the place has to reinvent it’s menu and serve the food faster as well.
The chicken shawarma and the Pita with oh-so-yummy fillings are to die for! The chicken was flavourful and had just the right amount of spices. The pita wrap was too good, with a generous helping of veggies and chicken. The Turkish pizza was blah and passable.
First time ever tried labenese food I tried firecracker falafels which was served with mint and lemon drink and French fries was tasty and juicy too chicken looks like was not fresh but enjoyed meal
Tasty hummus and falafel. The bread is very good as well, definitely, try the whole wheat option. I had the falafel salad, but unfortunately, they didn’t test the cucumbers and they were very bitter, couldn’t eat them. Other than that, good food.
This food court outlet had some unique options. I went for the shawarma and pink lemonade combo at first and the staff here advised to go for the pita pocket. If I liked spicy, then I could go for the shish taouk chicken pocket or the firecracker chicken pocket. My taste buds were crying out for spicy but my stomach was not in a condition to take too spicy. I took a chance and went for the firecracker chicken pocket. I had to wait 5 mts and the pita pocket turned out to be a good choice. The meat pieces in it were succulent, the fire cracker sauce was nice and overall not too spicy but it was tasty. The pita was not the fluffy pita types but a thin stiff pita just enough to hold the stuffing / meat. It was grilled though and overall I enjoyed it – the portion size was just right. The lemonade was warm and just sweet water – it did not taste like pink lemonade. This review is a couple of months late.
