Coastal foods are awesome here. Everyone should try here especially Mangaloreans. They feel like they’re having homely food.I have tasted Mangalore style boiled rice meals with Bangda fry which was awesome. You can try chicken fried rice, silver fish fry, anjal fry etc.
This restaurant is located in Rajajinagar opposite vivekananda college. This is purely a coastal cuisine restaurant with amazing fish items you get almost all kind of fish dishes like anjal, pompfret, kane, mathi, silver fish and crab in different style like roast curry semi gravy and chinese stlye and main course their is kori rotti and fish/chicken curry, boiled rice/ normal rice with fish or chicken curry and neer dosa with same curries.Food here is very tasty and a must visit place for coastal food lovers.
Visited this place after reviewing few review on zomato for Saturday afternoon lunch.Ordered fish thali, anjal masala fry. The fist thali was served with a sardine fish Mangalore curry, chicken sukka, boiled rice, neer dosa and some vegies. The Mangalore fish curry was awesome . However I do not like sardine and left the same. The anjal fish masala fry was also worth the taste and price.Ambience 1 / 5 but cleanService 2 / 5 decent.Food 4/5 for fish. Chicken sukka and neer dosa was not up to mark.Value for money 4/5 300 change or above.
This is a small local restaurant and you will miss it if you don’t know about it. The foods are lovely but not the place for your first date:-) unless if you want to impress your foodie partner. Whatever we order, we always enjoys it so we end up order a lot. I especially like prawn sukka and chicken sukka. Fish fry is very crispy and well cooked. Fish curry could be too fishy for some people but I like it especially with rice. Non veg tali is not bad as well. This place is worth the money. It is actually far better to eat here rather than eating somewhere in Orion mall.
