Starters are nice. The sushi is good but can be improved. All in all, it’s a nice place with a good panoramic view of the city. The staff are friendly and the service is moderate.

High Ultra LoungeWe had the Isaan Chicken Satay and Viatnamese Duck Roll with Sesame Plum Dip. Chicken Satay was great, but Duck was bland and the roll all together was reallu tough to be eaten. The place has a great view of Bangalore being on the 31st floor.

This is one of the most romantic places in Bangalore. 5 stars for ambiance, 4 stars for food, 5 for staff. A must visit place, best part is they also accept zomato gold.

‘Ultra high lounge’ is situated at an ultra height of 31st floor on the World trade centre. Obviously, this is the reason for it’s popularity because had it been on the 1st floor it would’ve been long forgotten. The ambience is obviously great, not exceptional, but definitely pretty good. I am impartial to the fact that it is on the 31st floor. The seating area is pretty decent. Not something worth paying so much for. But nonetheless, they claim to be the tallest in B’lore, so yeah, that’s something to experience, isn’t it?The menu is different from that available on Zomato. It hasn’t been updated. So I don’t exactly remember the names of the dishes that I ordered, but from what I can remember, this is what it was:1. Vietnamese duck roll – Pathetic. Don’t even bother trying this.2. Stir fried rice3. Fish in basil and pla sauce – tasted pretty good. You’re supposed to order the rice separately.4. Mud cake – definitely the BEST thing on the menu. Loved every bite of it. MUST TRY!Now, the food was average. Except the dessert, I didn’t think anything else was worth the amount of money that we paid. Honestly speaking, I’ve been to better places with better food and I wouldn’t think twice before paying that much money. But I felt that ‘High ultra’ is more about the experience and not the food. So yeah, the food is a big let down. Don’t expect much. Also, the quantity is horrible. That’s what makes it worse. Average food, poor quantity and exorbitant price. The service needs to be mentioned here. Each item we ordered took at least 30-40 mins to arrive. I don’t know what took so long but I don’t think it was worth the time. In fact, I also saw some people getting angry over waiting for so long. But nonetheless, the lady who attended to us, Ms.Tenzin was very nice and she definitely made our experience much better. She was wonderful! There are a few other things that I need to mention:1. While making a reservation on Zomato it says the dress code is ‘Smart casuals’. Don’t break your head over this as everyone was in jeans and T shirt. No one even cares about what you wear.2. Get a reservation because it’s always crowded.3. DJ starts after 10:00 pm. Before that you won’t find anyone on the dance floor.4. They charge 9% SGST and CGST.So, ‘High ultra lounge’ didn’t make an impact that I thought it would. To be perfectly honest, I felt it was average. Only the height makes it what it is. Nothing else is up to the mark. I wouldn’t recommend this place for food, but you can definitely go here for the experience.Overall rating:Food – 3/5Service – 2/5Ambience – 3.5/5
