While dining at food Court, we ordered one Malabar chicken biryani. The service was quick and biryani thali was delivered after 5 mins. It contained biryani, raita, pickle, Salan and sweet pongal. The biryani tasted good and had more chicken pieces than rice . However , the chicken pieces tasted average whereas the rice was good .
Got a chance to visit this outlet prior to watching a movie @ Forum Mall. I have been here for the dinner and it is one of the food stalls which is operating at the food court of Forum Mall.MenuAs the name says Coconadu is mainly specialized in Kerala cuisines. They offer a impressive and broad range of authentic Kerala dishes.Ambiance:There is nothing much to say about ambiance as it is a common cafeteria and will be thronged most of the time. Our picks for the day:We have tried Malabar chicken Biryani. The price of the biryani is 180 Rs. Biryani was good in taste and it had ample quantity along with good number of small chunks of chicken. The accompaniments provided were (1) raita (2) pickle (3) papad (4) chicken curry gravy. A payasam ( Dessert) was also provided along with this as a compliment.Verdict:Good option to have food in Forum mall if you are craving to have a Kerala food after spending long hours for Shopping, Roaming around and Movie.

Chicken liver fry. Definitely recommended. Tasty, beyond what normally experiences at a food court anywhere in the world. They had interesting combos too – very Kerala (but we didn’t do any of these). So all you anaemics – head out here for some natural non-veg iron supplements.
