This came up as a suggested place when we were in the vicinity. Shouldn’t have been here without Zomato’s rating.We had ordered mutton chops, biryani and laccha paratha. None of them could satisfy our hunger properly. And the pocket pinch felt even more after that.Mutton chops were in dipped in a minty gravy which was unnecessary. Chicken biryani couldn’t help much. Paratha was made of whole wheat and couldn’t save the damage already made by biryani and mutton.
Worst place, I heard about this place from some people. After visiting here I decided not to trust that person for food taste matters. Except raagi mudhe, nothing was good. It seems like cook had never tasted how biriyani would be. It’s like normal military hotel, people will be drinking there, not a place for family and not a place for people who looks for good tasty food.
Ordered country chicken curry. Below average. Lots of skin and not enough meat. The ragi balls are good. It appears that they are trying to cater to value for money segment.
I have ordered Single Parata, Egg Masala, Chicken Kabab & Chicken Biryani.Parata: Pure Wheat Kerala layered Parata which is melting as soon as u put it in the mouth. Superb.Egg Masala: Very appetizing taste.Chicken Kabab: Very Good.Chicken Biryani: Home Made Biryani taste with balanced spices and masala. Meat was cooked well. Served QTY will satisfy one’s hunger.Comments: Staff were behaving bit unprofessional. They were horse playing here and there. It took them 20mins to serve my food, even it was ready to serve.Note: its includes bar as well. Liquor is served here.
I can ssly rate this as the best I ve been so far. Don’t have a perception that military hotel serves only gud non veg dishes this hotel is an exception,as evn veg dishes tastes awesome. U get very good starters in both veg n non veg. Pls do try chicken coriander n chicken tandoori ,which r really tasty . I would love to go to this place with my family next tym.
During my last official trip to Bangalore, my company arranged lunch from this joint. The lunch consists of Veg Maharani, Dal Fry, Chapati & Veg Biriyani. Veg Maharani was too oily and very spicy! Dal Fry & Veg Biriyani was good in taste.Cost wise, its reasonable! basantsekhani.wordpress.com
Walking on Lal bagh road and deciding which new joint to try , we came to this place without an expectation. The place is neat and clean. After discussing with the waiter we decided on chicken biryani and mutton kheema balls. Both the dishes came in fast Biryani was good with medium spice and just right masala, mutton kheema could have been better if it was little more spicy. The place also serves Liquar. There is no board which mentions bar and restaurant though. Value for money joint . Bill for two is about ₹600
