The two buildings of Roti Ghar are a food street worth in entirety. An easy on the pocket, vegetarian, all day restaurant with a separate restaurant unit for a la carte with service on the first floor, a standing self service option on the ground floor, a plantain leaf meals hall in the next building, icecreams, juice, chaats stand in the evenings, street standing tables for self service, function halls and a bakery downstairs. The plantain leaf meals are just 150 for an unlimited meal. Whatever vegetarian food you are looking for- South Indian or North Indian food, snacks, chaats, sweets, fresh juices, milkshakes, icecreams or bakes you want- you get it here at good quality, with quick service, super affordability and very high value for money. Be warned, getting a seat in the service area or plantain leaf meals section during a weekend is a very long wait! This would be my stop in Basavanagudi for food.
