Checked in to Mangalore Ginger hotel and Restaurant previously named as red salt, now known as the square meal in Mangalore, for lunch with family, and loved the cozy ambience, and perfect menu, and so good in taste that I overate, good for kids and family and especially vegetarians. DILKHUSH SHAH

Good food here. I stay at Ginger often and this place serves decent food. Buffet breakfast has an excellent variety with juice, fruits, egg and the rotis or dosas. I had dinner once which is also a buffet with a good spread. The service is excellent and staff very polite. Absolutely no complaints!!
I stay at ginger so this is a convenient place to eat. Did not have expectations. But the food is surprisingly good. Fish and north indian is good. The buffet breakfast is ffantastic. What impressed me most are thw stir fried veggies which are amazing.
We went to this place on a lazy Sunday afternoon just to whet our inquzitiveness about the new place in town. Its on the ground floor of ginger hotel at kottara ,Mangalore .one thing that struck me when I went to this place is that it is right on the lobby of ginger that makes it a little awkward and doesn’t give you a restaurant feel to it. Coming to the ambience that was decent at best.nothing extravagant. Glanced through the menu and found just the usual fare of Indian and Chinese cuisine .it was also a little too pricey for the ambience that was provided.food was good but nothing brilliant.overall an above average place to visit.staff did not seem too enthusiastic either making it look as if it was a burden asking them to serve or ask anything.visited it once never to go there again.
Decent food !,Not good with service Rude staff ! at ginger but this one not mark up to the expectation You totally feel an south india. Taste which is always good for those who like coconut taste in there food
