If you are tired of sweet sambar, reach out to here around your area. Yummy paniyaram, ragi Rosa and mini idli.. guaranteed served with tasty chutneys and sambar. Reasonable price as compared to other restaurants nearby.
I usually stop at this place for quick bites or order online when I feel to have something light and inexpensive. The idli and dosas are decent but need to improve their chutney and sambhar..
This place is my breakfast hopping place most of the times over weekend. The biggest asset of small place like this is the food is always fresh. Its situated near munnekolala railway crossing. You get all south indian breakfast items like idly, dosa, pongal etc. Additionally, you also get kerala parotta, puri, omlettes etc.Only downside is that it has stand and eat facility. But,that doesn’t bother me as i always opt for parcel. Also one gripe is that they don’t serve red tomato chutney and regular coconut chutney is watery. Its fairly economical so all those gripes are overlooked as far as you get steamy hot idly and dosas.
I often stop here in the mornings for a quick light breakfast.Idlis are deliciously soft and the coconut chutney tastes great which I find missing in other South Indian ‘sagar-adigas-types-outlets’. The sambar is also very tasty and is a little different than what you get normally in Bangalore which is red in colour and slightly sweet and does not contain daal as an ingredient. All in all a good, cheap and quick place!
I visit this hotel during evenings to have my dinner. You’ll get dosa, chapati, parota, veg/egg fried rice and gobi. Though the hotel is a small one, it has its own attractions like you will get Idli even during night time. Usually getting idli during night times is difficult in marathalli area. But, you can get it anytime here. Next, they make Kotthu parota which is Tamilnadu special. Its worth to give a try here. And finally for egg eaters, they will make different varieties of omlette as per your requirement. Thats one of the good points I observed here. Hence, when you are in munnekolala area and searching to have tiffin within small budget, you can give a try here either in morning or night times.
This is a small shop located bang on kundalahalli gate junction. It’s one of those South Indian fast food joints also serving Chinese (meaning fried rice, noodles).Egg fried rice, egg dosa, plain dosa, idli (I have tried only once), chapati all are good. They taste well, is extremely cheap and has never caused any stomach problem so far(touch wood)!! An egg fried rice would cost 30-35 buck!!They have seating available now. A simple place where you can have some simple food. Nothing more!!
I’m frequent visitor to this place since this shop is near to my home !! Nothing much great to say about the food items served here !! But can try once if you don’t have any other option / if you want to try pure south indian food at a low cost.
