I am a huge fan of Japanese food & to top it I am a vegetarian. I have practically dined at every Japanese restaurant in Bengaluru & I can so confidently vouch for Yataii above all other Japanese restaurants. The moment you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by a member of Vidur’s (manager) team. They ensure that you are comfortably seated & then go on to share the menu & they also know what to recommend in terms of dishes that would match ones taste buds. The taste of the food is impeccable & the options that they have for even vegetarians like me are amazing. Even to this day I try to visit other Japanese restaurants but end up choosing Yataii as they don’t match up to these guys in terms of service, food & ambience. Also, their bar creates some really tasty mocktails & cocktails, I highly recommend anyone reading this review to give these guys at least one try & most likely it won’t be your last.
Good ambience. But doesn’t create the magic u expect from shangri la and Japanese..its just ok in terms of taste, noodles were pretty oily n tasteless
If you looking for authentic Japanese food in Bangalore then this place should be at the top of your list. Superb attentive service. Excellent food quality and exclusive ambience. I would recommend everyone to dine in here if y’all looking for authentic Japanese cuisine.
The sushi portions are decent. Tastes good. I loved the pork and beef here. The staff here is friendly and very helpful. It’s on the 16 floor (if I’m not wrong), so you have a good view as well.
Good Japanese food prepared and supervised by real Japanese chefs. Really enjoyed the decor, service and food. Prices are pretty good for what you get.

Stunning view of the city with great quality Japanese food & some great sake options . Excellent for late family dinner . Staff was comforting & courteous. One thing that stands out of yataii when compared to other restaurants is that food served here is high quality fresh food, this includes fish as well .
