In one word it’s fantastic. Easy on the pocket, easy on the tummy and delicious mouth watering food. The idli, uddina vade and masale vade are to die for.

This is just one amazing place for breakfast or for snack eating. This is a small place, with no sitting option.Their great yummy crispy vadas and hot freshly made idlis are just out of the world place. The kharabath is kind of ok. Bit don’t forget having freshly brewed coffee.

This is one of the oldest hotel in basavanagudi area. They serve authentic South India breakfast. They are famous for idli, vada, bisebelebath, karabath, filter coffee. Freshly prepared food. No seating as it’s a small outlet. Every day they prepare one special breakfast like bisebelebath, pongal, etc. Cost wise it’s cheap and pocket friendly. Good for morning breakfast

Olden days coffee outlet with a very limited menu. This review is for the coffee which we had when we visited and the Khara Bhath which I had earlier. It’s is a small self service restaurant serving a limited south indian style snacks like idly vada and the like. With the option of sambhar and rice in the afternoon. The khara bhath varies either with sooji or shavige. The khara bhath which I had was very good but the coffee though strong was average. The crowd is typical the old Bangalore crowd who know about the place and you wont find anyone young.Generally good for a quick bite if you don’t mind the ambience

Good old style coffee outlet with limited menu of south Indian dishes. Since I haven’t tried their food items my review is based on the coffee we sipped on last Saturday. It’s very tiny restaurant with option to stand-eat. A small serving area and few tables makes its ambience just basic. Service is good and quick. Generally you see lot of senior citizens who might be sipping coffee from their teenage in here.COFFEE: It was kind of strong. Core coffee (or kaapi I must say) lovers may like this coffee but in my views it was just above average. It won’t be crowded all the times and parking wouldn’t be a problem for two wheelers.Soon I’ll try their breakfast and update my review.Visted this outlet with Naveen Suresh (Bangalore Epicure) , VB beingbakasura.com

Suprabatha Hotel is one of the hoariest rapid breakfast joints in Bangalore. This is the only smallest self-service restaurant in the locality where they serve both breakfast and lunch. I been here numerous times during my college days and recently I visited here for a Coffee along with few foodie friends. I savored most of their dishes few years before.Service is really quick and rapt staff. They still have 90’s ambiance with Good old name board. They do serve South Indian dishes like other legendary restaurants in the locality. But addition to the regular breakfast dishes they also serve Rice Bath (Every Day it Changes) in the morning and Rice Sambar, Rasam in the afternoon. Taste of the food is unique compare to others. My favorite dishes are Khara Pongal and Idly Vada Chutney. Khara Pongal will be really good here comparing to the one which we get in Darshini’s and Idly Vada is as usual and tastes great with the chutney. I usually don’t try Rice and Sambar anywhere but this place prepares and serves very good sambar and you will feel the homely perception with it. I heard that taste is down now a days but I personally not tried in recent times.Coffee is so good and milk used was thick though. Coffee Lovers unquestionably enjoy the aroma of it.I would recommend this place to try atleast once!Overall:Taste: 3.75/5Quality: 3.5/5Ambiance: 3.25/5Service: 3.5/5VFM: 4/5 bangaloreepicure.com
