Yesterday my friend and I were at Abi’s Cafe, located at Judicial Layout, Yelahanka. I went in thinking of a fancy place with elaborate lighting, however, I found a nice cozy cafe with an equally good ambience and amazing food. The setting is unpretentious and the service prompt. It actually surprises me that there’s a place in Bangalore where you get really great Biriyani for 110 – 120 bucks! The chicken Biriyani my friend ordered was well made and neither too spicy nor too bland. There is a single leg piece and another piece of meat which was well done. I ordered an egg Biriyani which was also really good. We also ordered a few milkshakes (butterscotch and Mango) which tasted awesome. Overall, I’d rate the place 4.5 out of 5. Reasonably priced, nice outdoor space, unpretentious (again!), and great value for money. If you feel like having great biriyani at an affordable price, this is the place to go to.
