CH Biriyani shop is prominent for its delicious biriyani aka Manjaly Biriyani. Finally, I got a chance to be in this place for having lunch after hearing so much about their Manjaly Biriyani from Eat Kochi Eat and other well-known foodies Instagram handle. I must say that my visit to this place was totally worthThe place is actually a bakery shop and they have got a separate section adjacent to it where they will serve Biriyani. The place is located in the Muttom-Ambattukavu area, Aluva and it is opposite to Metro Pillar #159 for easy reference. You can get down in Ambattukavu Metro station and from there it is less than a km to reach this spot. The place will be opened from 9 am onwards on every day. They don’t have a dedicated menu as it is a bakery and they accentuate more on biriyani. Their menu is as followsChicken Biriyani (Full/Half ) – Rs 130/Rs 90Beef Birityani (Full/Half) – Rs 130/ Rs 90Biriyani Rice – (Full) Rs 70Biriyani Rice (Half) – Rs 50The service was good and fast. I didn’t have to wait much to get my order. I opted for Chicken Biriyani half as I was not feeling much hungry and I came here at around 12.30 pm. The quantity of the biriyani was impressive and the plate contained 2 pieces of chicken even though it was half biriyani. I was really surprised to see 2 chicken pieces for a half biriyani and the quantity of rice was ample for a person. I found hard to finish the plate as I was not feeling much hungry. The rice looked pale yellow in color and it was embellished with raisins, fried onions, and coriander leaves. I really liked the biriyani and the taste was scrumptious. Special mention to the chicken masala used in it. The chicken masala used in the biryani is the core component behind the taste of this biriyani. The chicken masala tasted really great with the inclusion of spices like cumins etc in it. The price was really reasonable. The quantity of rice offered and 2 pieces of chicken for rs 90 was really worth. The accompaniments served were (1) a bowl of raita (2) a bowl of pickle I vehemently suggest everyone check out their biriyani when you come across this area. I’m sure that you won’t feel disappointed. Recommended Place (y)
