Not good
Good service, good ambiance and best place for family outings!! I’m in love with the original flavours! Tried it, tasted it – loved it !!!..
The place was almost empty when we went in. Seemed odd because we had gone in around 8pm. We decided to try it out anyway and ordered a gauva milk shake and a chocolate milk shake.The taste was just average and doesn’t justify the price in any way. Its too costly for a shake.Ambience is good. Location is easily accessible.In the end we realized why the place was practically empty. Im never going in there again. The shakes didn’t even have any toppings. To put things in perspective, even a street milk shake vendor will add toppings for a special shake.
Since i always believe in what someone said years back, money can’t buy happiness but it can buy ice-creams and since that’s almost the same thing, decided to check out the new ice-cream place in town ‘Originals’ after a rather disappointing dinner.A clone of Natural Ice Creams, very very similar counters, flavours, pricing and presentation, including the ambiance of the outlet, making me think what is so original about the place that had to name the place ‘Originals’.Nevertheless, an ice-cream is always an ice-cream and got into the act and since they seemed to be matching in the number of options/flavours as Naturals (20 to be precise, out of which there is only 1 premium flavour – Choco Hazelnut), ended up ordering the Mint Chocolate + Rose and Choco hazelnut + Apple Cinnamon.The rose flavour is something which i am definitely not ordering again and the pick of the day was the apple cinnamon – something which i had never tried before. The other 2 were pretty decent, but that’s it.Service was not bad or anything but the guys at the counter seem to be carrying an air of attitude – i really wondered, why which was definitely echoed by the wifey too.
Have tried their Avocado, Coffee Caramel, Tender Coconut, Sitaphal, Kesar Pista and Caramel Almond, and they’re delicious. The staff is pretty friendly, they recommend flavors and give out free tasters for all flavors. The ambience is okayish, well-lit, enough seats, and parking is available. I fell the scoops can be priced a bit cheaper, as I walk past this place almost daily and it’s usually empty.
Tired their chocolate hazelnut flavour which is one of their premium flavours. Found this to be ok. Definitely not the best I have had.The place is very brightly lit and easy to identify on kaloor kadavantra road. The price per scoop was Rs 100. For regular flavours it is Rs 70. Will visit this place sometime and try some of their flavours.
