Been here a couple of times and this place never disappoints. Something as basic as fish curry meals are also so tasty. Must try dishes according to me here are the chicken biriyani, fish moolie. This place can get really crowded so expect a little waiting if going during peak hours.
We had dinner here as part of our Kerala tour. The food was a little bit spicy but tasty nevertheless. The service is quick. They pick up your plates as soon as you’re done with them; sometimes sooner. We had the basic dal, chawal, butter chicken, paneer and chapatti. Other than the chicken, everything was good. The chicken was too spicy to be enjoyed.
Visited this restaurant as part of kerala tour. It’s located on the ground floor of the dunes continental hotel. The interior is pretty decent and air cooling is really good. We ordered chicken shorba, chicken varutharachtu and kerala parathas. The chicken shorba was ordinary, they added lot of haldi and ginger in it which ruined the taste a bit. chicken varutharachtu was decent, it had lot of herbs. Kerala parota was as per expectation, very soft. The rates are very reasonable.
It was a very good experience with Mesra Cafe,Good food,service and ambiance. Definitely I will recommend to the people those who are near by.keep it up
tried the puttu festival there , they have all kind of kerala meals , good taste , more than any thing the price is also very attractive just 60 rupees for puttu , curries around 100 to 150 very much affordable for familes, very clean atmosphere , but all the qualities of of high level fine dining restaurants why to have out side in normal unhygenic restaurant , when such restaurants offer good quality food on such affordable pricelunch thali is also nice, next time defenitely i will go there to try the kerala cousine
